... going to get reamed in the National Championship again when they finally play a good team?

I can't say OSU is overrated because LSU lost to Kentucky? ...

LSU lost to Kentucky in the third OT. They beat Virginia Tech by 41. They beat Florida, South Carolina, and Auburn.

LSU would beat OSU by 20.

Not really. For starters why hate on Ohio State? Because they haven't played anybody? Well LSU lost to a #17 team and struggled against Auburn. USC lost to Stanford, Oregon lost to Cal and Oklahoma lost to Colorado.

So Ohio State hasn't beaten a top 15 team BUT Ohio State also hasn't lost to an inferior team. So you're hating on Ohio State because unlike the others they win the games they're supposed to win.

And to the user who thinks OSU and LSU played in 2003 you need to check the facts. OSU never played LSU in a NC game EVER.

If BC or ASU wins out they deserve to go over ANY 1 loss team regardless of the conference. Florida outplayed OSU last year, trust me Sen. Tressel will not allow that to happen again if they get a chance at the NC this year.

Only a retarded monkey would think Ohio State will lose this year because they lost last year. It makes no sense. If you want to use history to decide what OSU will do, look at their entire body of work. They're 4-1 in BCS games, so logically they should be a favorite in ANY BCS bowl.

The fact is Ohio State has not shown they are vulnerable to any team this year, but LSU and every other team has shown they can be beat. LSU has actually shown it 3 times, they just were fortunate enough to pull it out in the end of 2 of those games.

If Ohio State and LSU play in the NC game, Ohio State will be the favorite, and rightfully so.

Maybe...but that will be years in a row they have made it.
It will be like LSU getting beat, USC getting beat. Stop complaining already.
Even though, if OSU, BC and LSU all win out, I'm sure ALL the pollsters will vote LSU #2, so they jump over BC. Don't worry, all the pollsters and their favoritism of the SEC will prevail when it comes bowl time.
Say what you will, LSU still lost and you can't say Ohio State is overrated, because LSU losing to the #17 team shows one of those teams was overrated, and it was not Kentucky. Bottom line is LSU still lost and they don't deserve to be #1.

Well, since they would potentially be out of practice for 50+ days YET AGAIN, anything is possible. But I doubt they'd be "reamed". Last year was embarrassing enough. They may lose to a better team, but the score would be closer.

I think if they play an SEC team like last year they will......but if Boston College can hold onto that number 2 spot I think OSU will win if they make it there.

Ohio state gets by easily. To me they aren't even a winner. I say give em' a team like West Virginia. they're fast and you can't predict their passing game. (I hate the sec)

If BC remains undefeated, Oh. St. will win another NC. However, if BC loses, Buckeyes will have to play a better team and will get mauled.

No, I dont think so. If you think about it, they really won't get reamed in the NC. For the simple fact that they won't even make it to that game. The only way they will get reamed is if they spill their coke on the carpet, or drop their popcorn or not cheer for LSU.
