In the 1920's, there were winless teams every year in the NFL. Sometimes because the teams would fold after a few games.
List of winless teams from 1930-on:
1934: Cincinnati Reds 0-8-0
1942 Detroit Lions 0-11-0
1943 Chicago Cardinals 0-10-0
1944 Brooklyn Tigers 0-10-0
1944 Chicago/Pittsburgh Card-Pitts 0-10-0
1960 Dallas Cowboys 0-11-1
1976 Tampa Bay Bucs 0-14
1982 Baltimore Colts 0-8-1
In the 10 year history of the AFL before the merger, no team went winless.
Interestingly several teams have gone 1-15 since the league went to a 16 game season.
1980 Saints
1989 Cowboys
1990 Patriots
1991 Colts
1996 Jets
2000 Chargers
2001 Carolina Panthers

There has been only 1 team in NFL history to loose every game in a single season. The 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Stever Spurrior) was their QB, yes, that Steve Spurrior. The Bucs actually lost 14 gamesin 1976 and their first 12 games in 1977 for a record 26 game loosing streak! The streak came to an end against the New Orleans Saints. To prove it was no fluke, the Bucs beat the St. Louis Cardinals the following week to finish the season with a 2-12 mark. 2 years later they were in the NFC Championship game.
The Dallas Cowboys failed to win a game during their inagural season in 1960 but they did muster up a tie (31-31) in the final game of the season vs the Giants to finish up 0-11-1.

The dolphins will beat the Pats??? I don't think so. By that time, Brady might come out of the game in the second quarter, but only after they've put up 49 points. Tom Brady will likely throw 3 touchdown passes in every game. Against the dolphins, he'll probably already have over 50, and he'll be aiming at 60 for the year. The dolphins have nothing this year, the Pats are the greatest team of all time.
