My neighbor thinks Pittsburgh is the best thing since sliced bread. Anyway's he wants to bet me that Pittsburgh wins this one by 10. I dont think they will but I dont know if I can trust the Ravens to win the game or hold the Steelers lead to under 10. Should I take it?

I don't know who will win, though personally my money would be on the Steelers, if I were just picking the winner. However, if I were betting on a 10pt spread, I think I would go with the Ravens. The Steelers offense is pretty good now that they are completely healthy, but the Ravens defense is one of the best. Looking at the past couple weeks, Pitt should score between 20-28 pts this week, but I also think that they could easily give up just as many. I mean Denver put up 31, even though they could only muster 13 against the mighty GB defense. Pitt has some weaknesses and I think that the Ravens will be able to score.

Keep in mind too that this is a big rivalry game, and its rare that rivalry games result in blowouts. Its also a Monday night game, and weird things happen on Monday night (remember the Dolphins winning against NE last year). I expect it to be a close, defensive game and I wouldn't be shocked if the Ravens won.

The chance is slim. The Steelers, as much as I dislike them, do look pretty good.
A 10-point spread is only 1-point high than the Vegas Spread (sportsbook.com has Steelers by 9).
There have only been 2 games this season the Steelers have not won by 10 or more, both of which were losses.
So, I would not take the bet. Even if they Ravens have their guys back, it still make take them time to get rolling.

The Ravens have a good chance. The ravens crushed the steelers on their last 2 meetings last year. I think one of them is a shutout and both is at least by 20 points, I don't remember. But then again, they just lost to Buffalo and the team that crushed Pittsburgh twice last season isn't the same team that lost to Buffalo.

I'm a Steeler fan and I would take the bet. Pittsburgh tends to play a lot of close games. They get a lead and get ultra conservative and let teams make the final score look respectable. Steelers by 4 on Monday.

Take the bet , Pitt is favored by 7 or 8 , and the odds makers tend to be close .

The Ravens have virtually no offense, and the Steelers have the best defense in the league. That should answer your question.

Take the bet. The Ravens should have all their injured players back and they wont look as bad as they have the last few games. I think they can win it but if they lose it wont be by more then a field goal.

no, if he gave you 14, i would take the ravens and the points, but not 10. by the way,if you do alot of betting, you should check out www.accuscore.com. it seems to be very consistent and reliable week in and week out.

The Steelers are highly overrated. I am not a fan of either, but I honestly think the Ravens win this one by a TD.
