After everything he's done. They were making a big stink about an NFL lineman getting 7 mil WITHOUT a guarenteed contract unlike NBA players. It just doesnt make sense how much NBA players get. You KNOW Artest isnt helping any team win a championship, period. There's a dozen guys in the league that can carry a team to a championship, and he's not even close. Any group of 40 NFL players can make a run any season, and OLine is one of the most important factors. so WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???

What are your thoughts? Do you think that Yao's team wasn't performing well because Yao just came back and didn't have time to adjust?
Do you think Cleveland executed well? Do Cavs have a chance to get to the finals? What will be their major obstacles?

Looking back at a Duke highlight reel is like watching an Ultimate FIghting Championship reel. Stomping on people's chests when they are laying on the ground. Splitting open peoples faces. When most coaches talk about playing "hard" it means putting forth a great effort. When you hear Coach K talk about playing hard, it means "The other team was better than us, so we threw a lot of hard elbows." Next time you get a chance, watch the pre-game show before a UNC-Duke game, and try to tell which team is which (here's a hint: The UNC players will be the ones with blood all over their faces).

Virginia lost to Utah (11-18), Miami (11-19), and Wake Forest (14-15). Three horrible teams. Tennessee only lost one game to a team under .500 (South Carolina 14-15). Tennessee has beat more ranked teams, has more wins, and lost to higher ranked teams. Why does Tennessee not get the respect from all the coaches around the nation outside of the SEC? Does anyone agree with me? If not, explain please.

With this latest arrest, the Kings are already saying they don't want him, and will probably deal away with him after the ruling and all that mess. I know he is a desent basketball player, but this is enough. I am sick of all these athletes that make millions of dollars a year, and make the league look like a bunch of thugs on the bad side of town. Now, most NBA players are not like
Artest, but it seems like every single week or so there is another player that gets arested or has DUI or something to that nature. The NFL is thinking about adopting a 3 strikes policy. The NBA should as well. The league has a REAL BAD image problem, that needs to be fixed immediately, get these Artest, Stephen Jackson's off the basketball court, because they will just keep seeing the court room. So, if Artest's does not go to jail for a couple of years for this, will he get signed by another team, and if he does how long before he does something stupid again?

I went to the Pistons-Bulls game (amazing!!!) a couple Sundays ago at the Palace and Ben Wallace was booed everytime he touched the ball. He was laughed at while shooting free throws. It sounded like a playoff game based on the noise factor. I am torn because I loved Ben (like most others) when he was here, but he left voluntarily. I understand he got $12 million more and he had problems with Flip Saunders and the way the team was moving towards offense, but I still am angry at him for leaving. On the other hand, I also feel like Detroit should be thankful for the things Ben Wallace did for the team and city. What are your opinions?

With the Mavs and Suns clearly ahead of the Spurs in the NBA's Western Conference, most people are forgetting about the Spurs. Now, can you say that they are no longer of championship caliber?

I don't think so... They are currently on a 9 game winning streak and have held I think 7 of the last 9 opponents under 83 points. The defense is there and the bench is contributing.

Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker are quite healthy and I think they will reach the Western Conference Finals this year (at the very least).

What do you think?
