Of course they were! That's the BEST record in history topped off with a title, and the LEADING player of that team MICHAEL JORDAN had got every MVP possible that year(all-star, season, finals). So no matter if it was in the 90's, 80's , 60's, 2000's, or whatever era, it's in the RECORD BOOKS as the BEST RECORD in history.....and like this certain MJ hater ( Tweety ) says, THE RECORDS DON'T LIE!!!!!! The 96 BULLS IS THE GREATEST TEAM IN HISTORY LED BY THE GREATEST PLAYER IN HISTORY, MJ ( 3 MVPS THAT YEAR)!!!!!

P.S. Everyone Tweety is this MJ hater that dig in MJ's record book & bring up his worst years against him. His/Hers favorite quote is, "THE RECORDS DON'T LIE & THERE IS NO EXCUSES"! Well Tweety, how about that record for you? The record books makes 72-10 the best team in history, and the record books show that the team was led by MJ (All 82 games & 3 MVPs that year). If MJ takes credit for his losing seasons, well it's only fair that he takes credit for the winning seasons!

I have to say Michael Jordan. He played in the 80's, 90's, & some of the players now. Especilly some of the vets when they were at their best....and back when MJ was youger the big men were alot better then they are now.
Check out this list:
Shaq( Magic & Lakers )
Hakeem the Dream
Kareem
Magic
Bird
Ewing
Robinson
Malone
Barkley
Wilkins
Dr. J
Isiah Thomas
Kemp
Penny(with the Magic)
Hill ( with the Pistons)
Zo
Parish & McHale
Mutumbo( younger)
Reggie Miller
Payton
K.J.
Garnett
Duncan
Dirk
Yoa
Carter
T-Mac
Ray Allen
Iverson
Drexler
Webber
Stockton
Rodman
Mose Malone
Tim Hardaway
Glenn Rice
Larry Johnson
& etc.
MJ played in a era when the NBA players could actually win a gold medal, and back in MJ's era you can HAND CHECK. There also was a certain defense that was only applied to MJ. It was called The Jordan Rules. That defense allowed players to tackle, trip, grab, bridge, & slap MJ on his head. Back then teams did whatever they could
stop MJ!

Why are the 76ers so bad? I have been a fan since the Dr. J era and this team seems to be a perenial loser. Is it bad drafting? Not signing good free agents? I think it's poor decisions. Look at all the players they once had that do well with other teams. What is it going to take this team to become a winner, and how long? Espically since the Iverson drama is gone.

If he comes back and hes back to normal, I feel sorry for the 2nd or 3rd seed team bcse I dont see the Cavs, wizards, nor Toronto beating them in a series. Dont even mention the Bulls everybody knows their young but 4 wins against Miami?, Yeah right.

2007-03-01 05:38:35 · 5 answers · asked by Anonymous

No other team in the conference is for real! Cavs can beat em, but not in a series and the Bulls are too jumpy the Pistons would stop all of that. I think the only chance the East got is Wade coming back possibly and meeting them in the East Finals.

All Miami have to do is avoid the Pistons in the first 2 rounds and if Dwane comes back I can smell a game 7 in the East Finals with Heat and Pistons. I can bet you that

A few years ago when the Lakers and the Sixers were in the NBA Finals, I remeber the sports announcer talking about how Dikembe Mutombo had to kill a lion to become a man in his Native African tribe... Does anyone know if this is a valid statement?

2007-03-01 05:26:40 · 4 answers · asked by Anonymous

Imagine this: the heat would avoid the Pistons till East finals and if Wade is back at end of season he can play enough games to warm up for the matchup against the Pistons.

With his career threatening injury, even if he doesn't play another minute in the NBA, he is set for life financially. If he went to college, he would be injury prone and who knows if he would have made it to the NBA from college.
