If he comes back and hes back to normal, I feel sorry for the 2nd or 3rd seed team bcse I dont see the Cavs, wizards, nor Toronto beating them in a series. Dont even mention the Bulls everybody knows their young but 4 wins against Miami?, Yeah right.

I'd say rehab and be back after 7 weeks. Why? because they still have a chance this year to snatch a ring. Next year will be a helluva different story with Shaq, Zo and Gary getting old and their skills diminishing. Go for the title while they still can.

That's a tough dilemna. On one hand Shaq, Mourning, and Payton are all getting older, but on the other hand, does he seriously want to risk re-aggravating the injury and possibly causing worse damage. I think for his own safety he should get the surgery. Realistically, Miami will not be winning the title this year. Detroit would stop them in the east, and Chicago, depending on if they play like they did opening night or if they play like they have since around the all-star break, I think can beat them as well. Let's say Miami somehow were to make the finals, do you really think they could take Dallas this year, or Phoenix...or the Spurs in a seven game series? I highly doubt that. I say get the shoulder fixed properly. He is young and has plenty more years to come back strong.

Depends what the doctor says, if he rehabs for 7 weeks how soon before he reinjures it? Most shoulder dislocations don't ever fully heal without surgery, once the tendons are stretched only the muscle is holding it in place. With Wade's hard play and numerous nicks, its only a matter of time before a rehabbed shoulder for him will be reinjured. He needs to make a decision for his long term future, but you are right that this may be their last shot at a title with such an aging roster.

I think he should get the surgery but I think he's going to come back. Shaq us trying to play better and I just bet the team is putting some pressure on him to just rehab it and come back in time for the playoffs.

Rehab it and come back. I pretty much agree with what the guy above says, so I'm not gonna waste time typing it all up. Let's God heal it, and get back out there.
