Looking back at a Duke highlight reel is like watching an Ultimate FIghting Championship reel. Stomping on people's chests when they are laying on the ground. Splitting open peoples faces. When most coaches talk about playing "hard" it means putting forth a great effort. When you hear Coach K talk about playing hard, it means "The other team was better than us, so we threw a lot of hard elbows." Next time you get a chance, watch the pre-game show before a UNC-Duke game, and try to tell which team is which (here's a hint: The UNC players will be the ones with blood all over their faces).

I think Coach K in Beijing will be very interesting.

Clean play and talent like North Carolina ah? There's a reason they call Tyler Hansbrough "Psycho T". He actually got a technical in their loss this season against NC State for trying to slap Brandon Coster:

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Kentucky fan and don't exactly care for Duke (1992 chest stomping and all), but Roy Williams wasn't exactly helping the situation by leaving his starters in. Talk about feeding fuel to the fire, when you're up by 14 with 5 minutes left in the game. Florida was in the same situation with Kentucky this weekend at Florida...and with about 2 minutes to go Donovan pulled their starters and played their bench the rest of the game. You let the kids who ride the pine get some PT against your arch rival and at the same time prevent your star player from getting hurt. Just be glad that they didn't break more then a nose.

As far as Coach K is concerned, he's going to defend his players no matter what. I wouldn't go so far to say they cheat, because you can't take away the success they've had. They just play rough. It's no different then a Cincy team when Huggins was still there or playing against Florida's Joakim Noah (who swats at cheerleaders and coaches...nice huh). You roll with the punches and play hard. UNC won the game, they were the better team this year. Henderson will get his suspension and it's potentially going to cost Duke big time in the ACC tourney. Just move on to greener pastures (a.k.a NCAA Tourney).

First off what do you mean Duke cheat so much? Dirty play I wouldn't say it was intentionally but sometimes in the moment of a game things do get a little out of hand and players do cross the line. Clean play is hard to find in any sport. Teams go out there and play hard, giving it there all. B-Ball is a pretty rough game so there will always be a team or player that will play a little dirty or alot. Talent like UNC dude Duke has had and have talent.

Get over it already. Duke is cleaner than most teams, with an exception here and there. UNC is no better or worse. And frankly, the rest of the country doesn't give a damn about UNC or Duke.

Isn't there something else you guys can talk about, like who's going to win the NCAA tournament (the answer to which won't involve either Duke or UNC)?

Well why was Coach K calling a timeout with 50 seconds left in the game down by double digits. People are saying well why did UNC leave their starters in, Duke left their players in as well with Coack K calling timeouts. This isn't just any game where if you are up big you take your starters out. This is Duke/UNC, unless you have or do live there you have no clue how intense this rivalry is. You can see it was intentional. Henderson wasn't even in the play. He comes running into it swinging his arm when the ball had been knocked out of Tyler's hand. When he jumped up there he had the intention to foul him hard but I'm pretty sure he didn't want to break his nose.

Go Heels!!!!

Duke played harder and rougher against BC, VaTech and Maryland this season. No one complained about the tough play in those games. Now, because Tyler Hanbrough bleeds like a hemophiliac, that's somehow Duke's fault? Take your lumps, buck up, and move on. I've never heard a fan base like the Carolina fans complain more about a win in which they totally thumped their biggest rival.

EXCUSE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Duke does not cheat and Hansbrough elbowed someone on duke in the face during a time out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so you just shut your little mouth ok mister!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and the officials, coach K, and coach Roy Williams all said that Henderson did not intentionally do that!!!!!!!!!!!!
and Henderson apologized for doing something that I would like to do to Hansbrough and you at the moment!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so you can look at the web page in my resources to find out the truth about what happened to Hansbrough!!!!!!

SHUT UP YOU DUKE HATERS!!!!!

well i am done, have a nice day... NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why does Duke cheat so much? I guess it's because they know they are not as talented as North Carolina and cheating is the only way they can win.
Why all the dirty play? Coach K learned his dirty, underhanded tricks from another Coach K (Bobby Knight) while UNC's Coach Williams learned from the best (Dean Smith). Enough said.
