2. LeBron James is also very important for the Cleveland Cavaliers
3. Carmelo Anthony is good but I dont think he is the best, he still has to mature and also get a long distance shot.
4. Antawn Jamison is also one of the most underrated swingmen in the NBA, he is also the leader and captain of the Washington Wizards, and without him in the lineup, the Wizards went 4-12
5. Josh Howard is also an important piece for the Dallas Mavericks, just look at the record, when Josh Howard scores more than 20 points, the Mavs are unbeatable.

Between those 5, I guess Josh Howard is the most important piece for their team, the Lakers need Lamar Odom as he is a very good point forward , but they fared pretty well without him. Carmelo and LeBron are also great players and are the future of the NBA too. Antawn Jamison is very vital too but Wizards have Gilbert Arenas and Caron Butler.

There are too many good swingmen in the league for you to pick just one. You have Shawn Marion, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Joe Johnson, Lamar Odom, and Vince Carter. I think they are all great contributors to their respective teams.

a swingman is a player who can play both guard and forward position...much like Scottie Pippen did with the Bulls. now in the L some of the best swingmen would be....

these are players who can defend and play the SG and G position. of all of them id probably give my preferance to Iguodola. he has become the focal point for the sixers and is performing well. he rebounds, defends, scores and passes the ball well....hes a budding superstar
