I agree that the Suns would lose more games without Nash, but that doesn't makes him the best player/most valuable on the team or that doesn't mean that he makes his teammates better. Nash is the STARTING point guard on the Suns lineup(a key player). If you take a key player from any lineup that team is going to lose more games. Example: In 04 the Pistons openly admits that they wasn't a championship team without Rasheed joining them, right?
Well that doesn't make Rasheed the best player/most valuable player on the team, does it? No, they just needed that good power forward to complete them. You see when Ben departed the Pistons there clearly not the same team without Ben(a key player). Another example: D-Wade is the best player on the Heat, but with Shaq(a key player) being out of the lineup the Heat lose more games. Now that doesn't make Shaq the Heats best player, does it? No, it just means they're missing their starting center.
Anyways, see my point.

I think Dwayne has been exaggerating his injury from the start. Why do you need a wheelchair for a shoulder injury. He is a drama queen. I bet my friend that Wade would be back as soon as it happened and it looks like I was right. He just wanted to be dramatic.

BTW did you see the play where he got hurt. It was so pathetic.

The game was decided and maybe Tyler should have been out of the game already, but c'mon, this is Duke/UNC game. Noone is comfortable until the buzzer is sounded and you want to make sure you win. Clearly a flagrant foul, the ball was already knocked away and Henderson's arm was not even extended, it was clearly a forearm and didnt even try to hold it back. He came accross the lane and wasnt even in the play. He shouldnt even get to play the rest of the season! They always try to foul Hansbrough rough b/c he plays hard and is physical. They should step in and make an example of Henderson!

I was looking to buy some BIg East tournament tickets. I've heard of services like eBay, StubHub, and TicketsNow, and I've heard that they are legit.

Does anyone know of any other legitimate services? Have you tried to buy from them before?

Thanks in advance.

I think this is a good comparison. Both are very athletic, both could jump out of this world, both were strong around the basket, both had similar style of play, both were good scorers, Kemp been to the NBA Finals, & Wilkins won a title overseas.

My pick goes to Wilkins:

The teams that are already in are Pitt, Marquette, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Louisville.
The teams on the bubble are Villanova, West Virginia, Syracuse.
Are the bubble teams all going to get in or do they need to win a couple in the Big East Tournament?
Do you think UCONN has a shot if they get to the Big East Finals?

He's won hundreds of games. The graduation rate of his players is well above average. Former players love and appreciate him. Is he the whipping boy for a ratings-starved media machine?

When Dwayne hurt his shoulder he knew he could exaggerate the injury and miss the rest of the season. He was hoping the Heat would start losing the way the Suns did when Steve Nash was out. Now that they are winning he wants to come back so people don't start saying maybe Shaq is the MVP of the team. I'm not saying he didn't really hurt his shoulder but he totally exaggerated it and now it's starting to backfire. Now he can come back and be a hero if they win or have a built in excuse if they lose.

The Heat are winning games without him and now all of a sudden he is going to try to make a comeback. I think he is faking the injury because he wanted to see the Heat go down the toilet the way the Suns did when Steve Nash got hurt. Maybe he wanted some MVP consideration or something. Now that the Heat are winning without him he wants to try to come back like a hero. He is known for exaggerating injuries. BTW why do you need a wheelchair for an injured shoulder? This guy is such a faker.

Or do you think that Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, Gilbert Arenas, or LeBron James can take it from him?

Kobe has been doing well, but his team has lost to the Suns when Kobe and Nash were both playing.

Dirk has cooled off a bit since the all-star break, and Dallas can win without him, so he's not necessarily 'most valuable.'

Arenas is the leading scorer, but hasn't lifted his team to excellence, although Washington did break the Suns' 17-game win streak.

LeBron has been good, but Houston wins even when he's hurt.

Phoenis went 1-4 with Nash out mid-season with his shoulder injury.

What do you think and why?

Would the Commitee make Kansas play Oral Roberts again in the 1st round? Does the NCAA try to protect big programs like Kansas, while surpressing programs like Winthrop from getting high seeds? Winthrop has 28 victories and 3 of their 4 losses came against the top ten, 2 of which were ranked #1 and Maryland is now in the top 25....with that being said if Duke had that record they would be in the top ten, right?

The Nets' season is obviously lost. Should they just try to get better position in the draft by "resting their main guys"? I mean just a few slots higher, say... the tenth pick, is good enough to get them a quality big. Good job keeping Vince and Jason. I'm not too enamored on giving away Kidd so I think they should trade him away to get a better pick if their pick is not that high. Obviously they aren't getting the top two picks no matter what so if they can get even the third that would do wonders for them.

In the past few weeks there's been a bit of a shake up in who will and won't get a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

The top 8 ranked teams right now in the AP, in order are: Ohio State, Kansas, Wisconsin, UCLA, Memphis, Florida, Texas A&M, and North Carolina.

Which of these teams, when it's all said and done do you think will end up with the 4, #1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament? And tell me why?
