The Heat are winning games without him and now all of a sudden he is going to try to make a comeback. I think he is faking the injury because he wanted to see the Heat go down the toilet the way the Suns did when Steve Nash got hurt. Maybe he wanted some MVP consideration or something. Now that the Heat are winning without him he wants to try to come back like a hero. He is known for exaggerating injuries. BTW why do you need a wheelchair for an injured shoulder? This guy is such a faker.

I thought the same thing when he was carted off on a wheelchair for a shoulder injury. He shuold have won an Oscar for his crying performance. I think he was faking the extent of the injury, but I do believe he did get hurt, but not as bad as anticipated. His anouncement of a comeback will motivate his team for another run at the finals. Lets do if for Dwayne, yeah! Rah Rah! Pathetic!

Hmm. Why ask a question when you've already decided on an answer?

I guess I don't get your logic. There don't seem to be very many benefits to faking an injury, unless you just want to take some time off (as in Artest's brief rap-album break). You could fake your *reasons* for getting an injury (Radmanovic), but there aren't a lot of motivations for sitting on the bench and missing out on playing time.

Players don't become MVPs when their teams lose games... and certainly not when they don't play.

Are you smoking crack. You see how much pain he is. Why dont you try to dislocat a shoulder and tear something in your shoulder. Just see the pain he is in. Remember he got injuried in the game and was leading his team. Why would he does that, he wants to defend his titles, to lead his team to the playoffs, and hes a competitive winner.

Stop asking stop questions, think about if you in his place, with the skills. If he wants MVP, hes the team's MVP, he leads his team in every scoring category, assists, and steals. Theres no faking it. I dont know how you got that idea. Why would he planned injury to get MVp consideration, he got a ring with the Finals MVP. His injuries came unplanned and unfortunately after attemtping stealing the ball from Shane Battier. I think you just hate Wade and probably hating on him.

Faking??? Please!!! Vladimir Radmanovic plays for the Lakers!!! If you have ever had a dislocated shoulder, you would know if someone is faking or not. Once your shoulder pops back into socket, your arm is very sore for many days. IMO, D. Wade plays with and through pain with the best of them. D. Wade could care less about trying to be a hero; he does what he has help his team win games.

I think he is exaggerating it to a certain extent.....

Im 18 and i tore my ACL in football when i was 15.Thats pain!so dislocating a shoulder is girly stuff to that. I agree it was painful but he didnt have to cry and get carted off a wheelchair.IT WAS HIS SHOULDER!!!!!!!! not his legs. He can walk off the court himself like a grown man would do.So yes he is faking it and prolonging it.He tries to get too much sympothy. He should just grow up and stop bitchin about it. He aint no hero.....

I agree totally dude

The only reason for him to want his team to go down is so he can get more money, and that's impossible since he signed a max contract last season. And, He's not known for exaggerating his injuries, he's known for flopping when he thinks he's getting fouled, so he can get a call. You are way off base with your conspiracy theory

I don't think he's exaggerating it. Have you ever dislocated your shoulder? It is very painful. Also if not dealth with properly the shoulder will have the tendency to literally pop-out of socket. So I don't think he's over-playing it for a minute.

no, we all saw him crying and being carted off on a wheel chair, that's painful stuff...wade is a very strong player who plays through minor injuries and shrugs most stuff off. he can't gain anything by being hurt and has absolutely no reason to fake or exaggerate anything. he didn't ask for a wheel chair, the team doctors and trainers were being extra cautious and didn't want him to move his arm.

He is not faking it. No way no how. I have dislocated my shoulder & it is a very painful experience. I had to have surgery & my shoulder is still not the same it was. It is a very painful experience.

I agree. I saw the replay a few times, I was thinking "what, does being dizzy make you hurt your shoulder"?
