The game was decided and maybe Tyler should have been out of the game already, but c'mon, this is Duke/UNC game. Noone is comfortable until the buzzer is sounded and you want to make sure you win. Clearly a flagrant foul, the ball was already knocked away and Henderson's arm was not even extended, it was clearly a forearm and didnt even try to hold it back. He came accross the lane and wasnt even in the play. He shouldnt even get to play the rest of the season! They always try to foul Hansbrough rough b/c he plays hard and is physical. They should step in and make an example of Henderson!

Yes, the game was decided. You say Hansbrough should have been out then. So why was Coach K still calling time outs? If he thought the game was over why was Henderson still out there? (I'd say something about his other starts but well, two of them fouled out). If the game was over, why go and do a hard foul like that?

I believe that the ACC should have taken more of an approach to this. Now everyone, not just in the ACC but all over College basketball, is going to see this and say "Oh, we'll only get suspended for one game for doing this, no big deal."

If Henderson's shot on Hansbrough was 'unintentional' like the commentators, and Dicky V and everyone(It seemed everyone) was saying, then why was there no apology? Sure, Henderson didn't need to go up to Tyler right after it happened because then there might have been another bloody nose. . But where is the apology? (Perhaps I just missed it on Sports Center or something, but it's not something I've seen)

Hats off to Coach K?? Are you guys retarded!!?!?!?
He has the foulest mouth of any coach ive ever heard. He and Duke are a bunch of pricks. The foul was intentional! Yeah, play til the end, big rivalry, i understand. But you dont come across the lane when youre not even in the play and make a foul like that. No arm was extended, just a forearm elbow straight down towards Tyler! Duke is frustrated and big babies b/c they got OWNED twice this year. They will get it again first game in the ACC by State!!!!! And for all you retards who say Tyler shouldnt be in the game.....I dont care if they were up by 30, He didnt deserve to get his nose broken with a FLAGRANT foul. He had his sub waiting but didnt get in b/c the foul shot was missed and play didnt stop. HIS FOREARM CLEARLY CAME DOWN HARD WITH FORCE, NOT EVEN TRYING TO PULL BACK OR ANYTHING! NOT GOING FOR THE BALL, IT WAS KNOCKED LOOSE BEFORE HE EVEN JUMPED IN THE AIR. All the Duke fans will say he shouldnt have been in the game. Blah Blah Blah, you got owned all season and frustration set in and his punk @&! hit Tyler! DUKE SUCKS!!!!

Remember Henderson does go to Duke so he gets favortism. UNC tried to get Hansbrough out but the guy misswed the freethrow what else can they do? I think he should be done for the conference tournament and the next home UNC game. They should make him play in the game at UNC so he can be embarased that was the second cheapest shot of all time after LT on Theisman

I'm from the West Coast, so potentially unbiased.

That was assault. Speed the film up, slow it down, and then watch game speed, and its the same thing, an attempt to injure. Duke should suspend that guy for the rest of the season.

One more thing, it was a head shot, with potentially life altering affects. He'd be called for a personal foul in football.

Well I think it was intentional and adds to the rivalry. I think one game is plenty for the infraction.
It is interesting, as you point out, that with the game decided that Roy Williams kept Tyler in the game. Maybe Coach K was sending a reminder?

Why was Henderson on the floor for that matter? He had no chance at the ball and my sister could have withheld from that kind of contact. She could take Henderson by the way...LOL

i'm a unc fan and believe that this was clearly an intentional foul, it is very obvious that there was no intent to go for the basketball...however i also don't believe in scapegoats and making examples of people, so i think the one game suspension is appropriate

Rajon Rondo is a unclean, dirty, dirty piece of garbage. He tripped Kirk in activity 5 badly, he flagranted Brad Miller, and now this! He needs to be fouled so confusing that he learns his lesson, or only be suspended.

that was a bad play. henderson shouldnt of went up that hard when the game is practically over and it is decided. but the NCAA, i think made a bad decision. in my mind, it looks like he going for the ball and he tried to pull his hand away but he couldnt. Also, since it is one of the biggest rivalries, i can see how they supspened him a game because of huge rivalries.
