Yes, we all agree Artest is an idiot. No doubt about it. But as far as contributing to society, I would go with Artest. Here's why:
1) He provided entertainment by making all of us laugh due to his stupidity.
2) He stimulated our mind by making us think, "Noone is this stupid, right?"
3) He was helpful in our providing aid to our social issues by paying millions in fines and taxes and I'm sure he provided more to our education by putting some of the strippers through college.
4) He provided jobs by making sure his lawyers have a lifetime employment due to his stupid acts which seems to happen to only him.
5) And now, he is going to provide some love because he will be someone's boyfriend in jail.
Outside of that, you are the man.

You, me, and everyone else on these yahoo answer pages are better contributors to society than Ron Artest. A five year old is a better contributor to society than him. He has serious issues and if I were the Maloof Brothers I would kick him off the Kings and tell him to get some psychological help.

hey! that is a very good question! ron artest? the only thing he has done is start one of worst brawls in sports history! not much to brag about, is there! he is good player though! however, my advice to you! is to ask a better question than one on a person who is simply!! not vital to society! and try co contribut answers that people can learn something from!
