I think this is a good comparison. Both are very athletic, both could jump out of this world, both were strong around the basket, both had similar style of play, both were good scorers, Kemp been to the NBA Finals, & Wilkins won a title overseas.

Good question they are both a couple of my favorites. Being from seattle and growing up with kemps poster on my wall, its hard to vote against the rain man! However the way he ended is career with such complete failure, and wasted talent, I have to go for the human highlight film! Both had power and raw talent. Both created some of the best and most explosive dunks ever! Even though Kemp probably had more talent seeming how he only played 1 year in high school and went straight to the nba to dominate. I watched him single handedly take the sonics to the finals and beat the jazz while payton was carried along for the ride. Both of them had another team keeping them from the title, Nique had the Celtics and Kemp had the Bulls. The two greatest dynasties ever. For some reason I still think if you put the two next to each other in their prime, Dominique would guerilla dunk on kemps head. Its hard to give the guy credit who spent all of his off time making babies (12 -13) out of wedlock with random women while spending all of his money on drugs! I heard Kemp was trying to make a comeback last year.

Wilkins by far was a better player than Kemp. Kemp's dominance was limited to a small window where Nique's dominance was more like a decade. Had it not been for the Celtics teams of the eighties, the Hawks likely would've won a title with Wilkins as the centrepiece to the team

Kemp. All Wilkins does is dunk. So did Kemp but he actually played some great defense.

When Kemp played to his potential, I don't think Wilkins could touch him. That guy was so quick on the block, good passer and defender. He could physically dominate almost anyone one-on-one.
Too bad he couldn't stay away from the 'herb' and the munchies.
