The question is in fact do we want to go for old and get cabrera in two years or settle for tejada and give up melky or would uy rather see hughes, chamberlain, or kennedy head out to florida. My theory is that we try to provide giving up[ young talent and wait a year or two until Cabrera is out on the market then just drop Tejada later. The young pictchers all seem to good to give up in my theory they have all proved thereselves and we need the pitchers for the future the Yankees always complain that they dont have enough good pitchers so why give up more. The more logical of the two would be tejada but of course Cabrera would look god in those pinstripes and is a great addition to murderes row part 2 and the yankees will not be the bronx bombers without any bombers and i think that if we had Cabrera for our talent for the new stadium he is a great new leader to help a great start to that new stadium. It is going to come down to giving up alot or nothing. If the yanks got pacience.

Rumor has it in the Baltimore Sun that the Yankees have interest in Miguel Tejada and would move him to third base. I think he would be a good fit. Plus the Orioles want Kyle Farnsworth. This deal would work for both sides. Will Tejada be wearing the pinstripes next year. If not him, who will be the Yankees third baseman in 2008?

article said he is drafting a contract to present to Cleveland owner Larry Dolan before presenting it to Sabathia or his agent. OMG can we get this done? I sure hope so but I think it will all hinge on CC's true desire to stay in an Indians uniform. Your thoughts?

I hope they stay fr the Yankees and the Red Sox sake. What's a rivalry if one of the teams falls off the map.

This is a follow-up question on the Craig S. question about winning and value. So let's get right to the point, is A'Rod's value based on what he thinks it is, what Boras thinks it is, what the fans think it is, how many rings he has, what other players are paid, or what an employer is willing to pay? If it is anything other than what an employer is willing to pay, than how is that value calculated?
