David Wright made 21 Errors this year and won the NL Gold Glove at third base. Wondering if any other Gold Glove winner made more miscues.

Ozzie Smith (twice) 22 and 24 - they gave him the gold glove for 13 staright years without ever looking because he made such spectacular plays.

The fact is, if you cover a lot of ground and make the effort to make the great plays, you will have more errors.

Ex. Derek Jeter makes every play that comes his way and won the GG in 05-06. But he doesn't get to nearly as many balls as say, Orlando Cabrera.

Ozzie still deserved those GG's because he more than made up for the errors. I didn't really watch Wright, so I can't speak for him.

David Wright is a disgrace to have 21 errors and win the gold glove it should've been given to someone more deserving Chipper Jones, Scott Rolen they made far less errors Jones (9) Wright only won the gold glove because he is in a big market media and gets the most attention and he isn't the best 3rd baseman.

Zoilo Versalles won the Gold Glove at shortstop in 1965, despite making 39 errors:
