He would be a great 3B but I belive I would rather go after Miguel Cabrera. He's still a 'kid' and Miguel cant say that anymore.

Everyone thinks Miguel Cabrera will be the Yanks 3b, but the Marlins will want Phil hughes in return and then some. If the yanks are smart the ydon't sell off good pitching. For a 3B who will likely have to move to the corner OF if he keeps chubbing up. Tejada is interesting because Baltimore likely would take almost anything to move his contract and he is still relatively young.

I honestly don't see that happening. It could come down to Miguel Cabrera or Joe Crede although the Marlins are gonna ask for a lot for Miguel Cabrera as he's still young and is a good player as well. The dark-horse in all of this which it could very well happen is that Wilson Betemit plays 3rd for the Yankees for a year until they can go after Miguel Cabrera or someone else next year in free agency.

I believe the #1 New York Yankees Fan has it right, Cabrera before Tejada because of the age factor.

it's a chance they were talking about it and a chance of Miguel Cabrera to new york Yankees and the Yankees aren't which but if one was chose it will be Miguel Tejada because the marlins want joba chamberlain, Ian Kennedy and Phil Hughes the Yankees said no to that trade

Kyle Farnsworth for Miguel Tejada straight up?
Not even Peter Angelos could be that incompetent...

As long as Tejada can still produce, he would be a great acquisition for the Yankees. However, Miguel Cabrera would be an even better pick up.

Although you think Tejeda is the better option because, well- his name is Miguel Tejeda, he's not. The other Miguel, of course Cabrera, would definately excel more in the hole at the stadium. He's only 24 years old and he's naturally a third basemen. We don't want to have another original SS come in and make that move to third again, plus you can't deny the pop in Cabreras bat either. The kid deserves the chance to show what he could do in the bigger market.

I don't think the Orioles would trade Tejada in their division unless they got some top prospects in return.

It doesnt matter. They could clone Tejada & put 2 of him at 3rd, and keep farnsworth...
The Sox are the class of the AL East.
It would be nice, if unlikley, that the Sox got Arod & put him back at short

yankee fans may want Cabrera but you would have to part with Hughes AND Chamberlain to get him. Tejada could be a plan B option though.
