article said he is drafting a contract to present to Cleveland owner Larry Dolan before presenting it to Sabathia or his agent. OMG can we get this done? I sure hope so but I think it will all hinge on CC's true desire to stay in an Indians uniform. Your thoughts?

If he's smart, he'd take less money to stay with the Indians then get more on the free agency market...they have a great team and a great shot to get into the World Series.

I'm Thinking Sabathia will probably be like Mark Buerhle with my White Sox. There'll be some give and take, and in the end Sabathia will get a pretty damn good contract, a bit less than he wanted, but enough for him to be a millionaire a few times over, and be happy.

Well with the few places that he would like to be outside of Cleveland it doesnt look like they will be conteders any time soon (Oakland/San Fran). I could maybe see him ending up in Dodger blue, but I think he really does want to be a ring winner with the team he came up with. I think with the events of this post season he kinda has a chip on his shoulder and something to prove to the fans. I think that Shapiro will get it done. Its what else they do that concerns me. If they sign CC in the off season I hope they dont feel like all will be solved for next year. Teams are gearing up and know what to expect from this team. Its hard for me to think everything is just gonna fall into place like it did in 07. I hope to heck it does, but i'll feel better if they beef up left or decide to use J-Mike 90%. To my previous answer I was talking about the famed minor leaguer Adam Miller. Lets see if he can overcome injury and bring the heat. Is it March yet?

Although CC sucked in the ALCS, I would love for him to stay in Cleveland. And while he might be able to make more money elsewhere, I believe he likes playing in Cleveland and see's the serious potential to win a lot of games with a good young squad over the next few years.

I believe Sabathia sees his future with the Indians and that is where he wants to be. It helps that it is a team of solid young players with the good possibility of contending for years to come. Sabathia should be with the Indians and that would be a good move for both sides.
