this is my only Question about this matter

Looks like they are finally going to get rid of that fraud Bonds*. I was beginning to think that they were too cowardly to do so. I hope every memory of him gets erased from the game. Then maybe we can get some good testing and some real records again.

Now he is saying that since Bonds is black, they are going after him.

Wow. I though skin color should not matter in this situation. People who cry racism seem to be racist themselves these days.

Again, I wanted to hear more about A-Rod. I guess I wont anytime soon because of this stupidity.

On the one hand, the guy knowingly cheated and lied to a grand jury about knowingly taking steroids while his personal trainer had been sitting in jail for him. On the other hand, he's just one of many players who have taken steroids and reaped the benefits of it, and it seems like he's being targeted solely based off of his astronomical success.

I for one do not feel sorry for Barry, because we all know that he's a renowned jerk, both to fans and the media. He cheated on his wife as well, creating a very difficult situation for his family. I can understand being a jerk to the media, which he always has been, but to his own fans? I have heard from multiple Giant fans that when they asked Barry for an autograph, he refused unless you paid him. There was also a story about a journalist who was selling a ball for some cancer charity, and asked Barry to sign it. Barry said "I don't sign for white people." The guy responded "White people aren't the only ones to get cancer." Hah.

Since Barry Bonds is indicted, if he is convicted of lying against the grand jury will he be pulled from the home run record??

thereby restoring the record to Hank Aaron? And have all games which the Giants won by only one run become ties?

There are runners on second and third with one out. The batter hits a fly to center. Both runners start running but the center fielder makes a diving catch. He throws to second base for a double play. But the runner on third kept going and touched home long before the third out was made.

Does his run count, even though he never tagged up after the catch? If not, why not?

I just heard on the news Barry Bonds was indicted for lying under oath about the steroids investigation.

Does anyone else know anything more about it?

They said they would give full info later.

to a grand jury about knowingly taking steroids. Bonds' career is OVER people. No team will want to touch him now, for the 2008 season, unless it's at a 500 grand contract like Sosa got. And his Hall of Fame chances have GREATLY DIMINISHED. He also might be going to jail. You agree?

in order to allow Bonds to break the home run record? After all, this is three year old information. If so should Bud Selig and baseball be put on trial for deceiving the fans knowing what they knew and yet allowing this charade to continue?

Barry Bonds got indicted today on federal perjury and obstruction of justice charges. (remember he isnt guilty yet)

I think that many of you hate Barry because he's not a "nice" person but why do people care so much about being a nice guy? Bonds loves playing the game of baseball and he works hard, thats all that should matter to people. he really doesnt care about what others think or what the media says. i dont think the medias portrayal of him is fair. Barry isnt the only player to be linked with steroid and performance enhancing drug use, but people dont care about that.

so if Barry was a "nice" guy, would this be a different story?

It has been said that Bonds dosen't deserve to play ball because we know he uses STEROIDS!

Today a grand jury indicted him for purgery too.

should he still be allowed nto the Hall of Fame? dhould his records be asterixed? Or completly wiped out for cheating?

Is this a "white - black" issue by race, as well as morality?

I say this because if they actually had any thing on him he'd be in jail a long time ago. now i'm not aruging for him-he probably took something i don't care about that-what i am more concerned about is how justice is potrayed now a days.

they'll have to prove his word against theirs. and if he loses on his word-because as i said they have no proof-every american should be worried about how justice no affects you. the justice system could easily place you in jail even if they can't prove it.

again i'm arguing for him. its his problem not mine. i'm more worried about the lack of logic in our justice system.

Bobby Bonds has now been indicted for conspiracy to obstruct justice and perjury involved in his illegal use of steroids. His former trainer is now in prison because Bonds won't tell the truth about his involvement. What should baseball do with him if he is convicted of these crimes?
