Wow. I though skin color should not matter in this situation. People who cry racism seem to be racist themselves these days.
Again, I wanted to hear more about A-Rod. I guess I wont anytime soon because of this stupidity.

Let's see if I got it right.
White America is trying to take down Barry Bonds because he is black.
Because he lied in front of a grand jury about cheating.
Because he surpassed Hank Aaron in career home runs.
Stephen Smith is always crying about race. If he wants it to truly end he should begin by leading the way instead of crying wolf at anything. Hell, if the world was populated by no race other than African-Americans, he'd still find a reason to play the race card.
Being of any race has nothing to do with this. Its absurd.

Thank you Elvis..thank you very much for bring this question to the table....the answer is because it is! This would not be anywhere the "thing" it is if he had been white and realize it that that is exactly what it is....Bond's does not help for he has brought this on himself....but that is just his nature...he is not a "good ole BOY" like most people would want him.....for the record.."I cannot stand him"....but I feel the exact same way about Rose...he also brought it upon himself with his arrogance.....Bonds to boot is...."black..rich...and vocal"....not a combo that White America likes.....he just need to adjust his ways somewhat...but he will not be doing this anytime soon.....just for the record....Vick's situation was horrible and brought it on himself....but it would not have been as "BIG" if he had been white......this thing with Bonds should have ended a long time back.....so they found steroids in his body....."he never knowingly took these drugs"...that is his story and he will stick to it and leave enough doubt for no one to convict him......"I never knowingly took steroids"....thats it!!....but he is "black...rich and vocal"....so lets go after him anyway.....there is no way that they will convict him on it!!!.....Just also for the record....how bout them Yankees and A-Rod.....GO YANKEES! Please tell me you are kidding on the A-rod thing, I don't eant to hear about him again for another week at least.
I do agree though I think SAS goes to the race card a little to early and often, however(HOW-EVAH) I am a white male so I don't have any place to judge from.
