Now that Barry has broken Hank Aarons record, isn't it a funny coinsidence that Barry is indicted? Major League is able to roll around naked in the huge piles of cash Barry's home run chase brought in and Barry is stilled charged involving performance enhancing drugs. Does the Major League look like they attempted to do something? Or will they be viewed as treating Barry like a pawn to drum up attention to the sport?

Will Bonds end up serving jail time? If so, does he deserve it?

I have a detailed list of people who claim they know what they are talking about yet even while the news has already been reported as fact they still say 0% of it happening.

Y/A was designed for people to ask real questions and get real answers. When a user breaks those rules, shouldn't also report them to keep this place sacred for the real people who care to talk about real issues? Shouldn't questions about peanut butter and jelly be banned? Shouldn't answers stating facts get thumbs up instead of 5 thumbs down?

If we can whine about baseball player's moral ground then why can't we uphold those same values here and stop being hipcrites? Who are we to judge when we do so little ourselves?

It's time to take this forum back from the "steriod users" and "greedy" ball players and give it back to the Derek Jeters and Craig Biggios of this forum. Who is with me?

Yes he probably took roids, but so did a lot of those other guys. Why are they messing with just him? It's a bunch of bs and and I think the gov't should have better things to do.

I saw him list Willie Mays and Charlie Brown, on his ESPN website. I was wondering if he was referring to the historical MLB player by the name of Charlie Brown -- or the wishy washy (but lovable loser) hero of the famous PEANUTS cartoon strips.

I knew the truth would eventually come out. I'm just wondering why it took so long to do so. I wish this report would have come out before he stained Aaron's home run record. Any thoughts/opinions would be valued...

With the latest news about Barry Bonds being indicted or what not, I have decide to give my opinion other than asking a question. This statement will not be long, and is what I believe to be the averages man's opinion about Bonds.

Who Cares?

Whether he be breaking home run records, taking steroids, or going to court, I think we would all be better off not hearing about it. I dont care if this guy hit 800 home runs, or goes to jail. I DONT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT.....please?

Well, well, well... so Barry has been indicted... interesting. Could it be he lied? Could it be those huge biceps came from drugs not excersise... too funny. I hope they take his record away and throw the book at him. Pete Rose has been kicked around forever for placing a few bets.. Bonds has taken drugs and lied through out his career.
Maybe this might do something to get them to finally clean up baseball.. and all sports.

Especially Yankee fans, how do you feel about A-Rod coming back for $275 million for 10 years???

At first when he opted out, I could really care less because he had not done anything in the playoffs. If he didn't want to be with the Yankees then so be it. I felt like paying him all that money he was looking for was not worth it. I mean seriously ONE player doesn't make a team. Now that he's back I still feel like he is payed way too much, but hope he comes through for the Yankees.

If so, how much time do you think he should get? And do you think he deserves to keep his records? Why should Marion Jones have to give up her Olympic medals while Bonds gets to keep his records, tainting baseball forever? And finally, should Bonds be denied entrance to the Hall of Fame because of this indictment?
