If found to be guilty of lying to a grand jury, yes he does face jail time and should have to pay the price.
But remember, everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
There are serious questions that need to be answered and this is the proccess to find them.
Love him or hate him, Barry deserves to have a fair trial and be allowed to stand up to the system and not be tried in the press.

First, no he shouldn't go to prison. I'm the most hating Bonds guy out there but drugs are relative in this country and so is legal age. If you don't know what I'm talking about don't hit the thumbs down because of it.
Clinton came up in this and there is a BIG difference. Clinton didn't CHEAT to win the White House. (I'm a huge Clinton fan too although I believe in 3rd party domination)
The real question here is that Bonds lied under oath to simply be the man... Clinton WAS the man and lied to keep it. Clinton had nothing to gain from it and everything to lose. Bonds had EVERYTHING to gain from it and EVERYTHING to lose.
Logic shows up ppl will do what ppl need to do to win in this world. We call them heroes when they win, we hate them when they win on bad terms. Clinton wasn't doing anything to win, Bonds did this to win and have his name and his name only to win. Bond's wife would not be able to run for President given what he said was a lie. Clinton's can. Why? Because it's the truth that he had nothing to gain from it while Bond's did.
Blame someone? Blame us for not seeing it sooner. But the others? Leave them alone and punish them individually for forgetting that we are smart ppl who care about right and wrong.
That's what's wrong w/ today... everything I said could be debated... it shouldn't have been. They should have been burned alive or protected. Welcome to fu**ed up land.

If convicted there is a strong probability Bonds will have to serve some time. Bonds could have refused to talk to the grand jury but once he did you have to tell the truth. Lying to a grand jury is not good.

He desevres nothing. No pity, no admiration. he cheated and lied and now hes been caught. F**K HIM.

He obstructed justice and lied in courts while letting others take the fall.
He and OJ will make a good set.

Bill Clinton perjured himself and didn't go to jail, why should Bonds. His records should be placed in a different category than players from other generations, and that should be the end of it. He should also be put on probation and do community service. This is far less than what Clinton did, 1 million times less than Michael Vick.

Thats what he gets for being an arrogant, cheating ******.
If these charges don't get him, the IRS will... remember they're the ones that got Capone.
