Let all the Yankee haters have their fun for now. As the off season continues we will see all the pieces come together. By Spring training the Yankees will have a team ready to contend for the AL pennant. Love him or hate him, A-Rod is still the best player in baseball. I'd rather have him on my team than on some other team.

Yes, the Yankees will win a world series and probably more than one during the next ten years, much to the dismay of our detractors!

I think they will definately win one, but not a lot. He clearly is a drain on the team and obviously is a huge choker. I don't even understand why the Yankee's signed him again. If they would have held out they would have gotten him cheaper. No player is worth $250 million, yet alone $300 million.

Well, as you said I think the Yanks will win a WS in the next years with or without ARod, so the answer is yes. It's not because they signed ARod necessarily.

I'm 100% sure you like to ask this question over and over again. If A-ROD is on the team they will not win a WS. Look at his record, he can't win in the post season and has been nicknamed "the cooler" because he sucks in PS play.
What would make you think he would win a world series? Because he got a $275 mil contract? That's like the GIANTS assuming the same when they signed Barry Zito.
the Yankees have a TON of over the hill players who they insist on throwing stupid money at & not a pitcher who can pitch among them...that's their real curse.

they will win a world series in 10 years whether he is on the team or not. it matters more if their pitchers would stop playing like crap. they need to worry more about getting more good pitchers before arod. i personally hate the yankees but they are very good but they make some stupid moves in pitching. hitting does not win championships, pitching does.

Well, they haven't won one the last four years. It all comes down to the kind of pitching they have, how their youthful talent develops, and if they can actually produce in the postseason, A-Rod included. A-Rod could hit 74 HR and drive in 192 runs, but none of that would matter if he just choked again in the playoffs.

Yes they will if they can get their pitching staff straightened out and give the Yankees some production off the mound.

I don't think they will...that team is getting old in key postions (Posada, Abreau, Jeter, Damon, Rivera..etc..we'll see but I think the Red Sox will win another one before the Yanks..

little question he might help whoever he is going to in spite of what he might do interior the placed up season. maximum contenders might probably win inspite of him. My rivalry, is does he or would not he deserve that championship ring. individually i might particularly see Bonds get a hoop earlier A-Rod.
