what is done is done.. but Bonds appears to be heading to an exclusive club that has only one member right now.. The game's all time hit leader has been denied a spot in the Hall.. and the Game's all time homerun hitter seems to have reserved a seat right next to Pete Rose.. Different paths.. similar fate?

NO!!!!!! By the way steroids are NOT illegal, even though I would never recommend them or use them. Let me ask should Ty Cobb be discredited because he would sharpen his METAL cleats to a razor sharpness and then slide into base with one foot raised and aimed at the baseman's knee cap? Who knows what a lot of the athletes of the past did. Should a pitcher have his wins erased because he used spit balls or Vaseline on the brim of his cap that then mysteriously ended up on the ball? What about the football player who was asked recently by his coach.."Why did you hold, on that last play?" and the player responded "COACH I hold on EVERY play. I only get caught once in a while. What about competitive edge. Where should the line be? If it's not legal, I agree then you go to court. If it's a little cheat in the game, then that's part of the sport, pushing the envelope to get away with what you can while doing your best at GOOD sportsmanship.

No. The substances he took were not banned by baseball until after the time in question. Baseball can not retroactively change the rules to change records. MLB is just as much to blame for this outrage as Bonds and the others who took steroids are. Baseball knew about the crisis but didnt take action when they should have. Why?

Chicks did the long ball.

Yes, he should.. and so should anyone else who cheated. Sports is supposed to be a game of not cheating. These people make me sick.. and I don't want my kids thinking they are heroes.

bonds isnt the only one who cheated in the hall. so if you take out his records, you have to take out pretty much everyones records because most players at one point or another have cheated.

No.

And there isn't even a rational case to be built for such an action.
