Ya know, we kicked King George out of this country more than 200 years ago; we still have a king though, and it is the almighty greenback. Bonds has 100 x more money than everybody who answers this question (unless Donald Trump or Bill Gates show up before the deadline). Because Bonds has all this money, he will never see the inside of a jail cell (not any real jail cell, anyway).
He will not lose the HR record because he is black. I am not a racist, never have been; I judge people on their merit (or lack thereof). But let's be real, he will play the race card and that'll be that. Never mind Buck Weaver in 1919 who never accepted any money but was banned in the black sox fiasco anyway; Pete Rose was deservedly banned for gambling, I don't care if he had 6524 hits.
In an ideal world, Bonds, McGwire, and Palmeiro would never be eligible for the HOF. If Sosa was taking them, he should be ineligible as well.
We have players like Tony Gwynn and Cal Ripken Jr. who were good guys and were never even mentioned in any kind of crap. No, they couldn't hit the ball 900 feet or rack up HRs like we rack up reward points on a Visa card; they were simply honest ballplayers.
Ultimately, when the record books are complete on this era in baseball, smart people will know who the real heroes are.

Well you being Yankees fans have nothing to worry about even if they let Bonds keep his record because it looks like A-rod is staying and he seems to have a good start at beating the record. But I hope that he goes to Jail. And also give him 762 Hours of Comunity Service (Like make him clean the stands after a gam).

He should rot in the cell....Strip him of the home run records he holds and give them back to Roger Maris at 61 for the single season and Hank for the all time homeruns!!
McGwire Sosa and Palmero can share the same cell!! What a bunch of DIC!S

well they cant take away a record that he does not have, if you are talking about aarons records, most home runs in a major league career. that would still be aaron. the only record bonds has is most home runs by a steriod enhanced player, that belongs to barry, and that record, let him keep it, no one else wants it anyway.

whilst Bonds took steroids, all of us exchange into TAKING THEM. you are able to no longer only take steroids and hit seventy 3 homeruns in a season. you nonetheless must be an excellent hitter. with out steroids, he might nonetheless have the record! specific, according to threat it would take him a season or 2 longer, yet he ought to nonetheless be enjoying ideal now!

from what i've read they can give him up to 30 years for each charge but more then likely he would get somewhere between 2-3 years if hes found guilty of all charges.. its obvious they wouldn't of brought an indictment against him if they didn't have enough evidence to charge him.
