It has been said that Bonds dosen't deserve to play ball because we know he uses STEROIDS!
Today a grand jury indicted him for purgery too.
should he still be allowed nto the Hall of Fame? dhould his records be asterixed? Or completly wiped out for cheating?
Is this a "white - black" issue by race, as well as morality?

AROD may be in pinstripes to break Bond's record, while Bonds is just in STRIPES!!!
Why did the $sit hit the fan today?
What was the last straw. I saw this coming, but not today!!!
I heard it is 5 or 6 charges with a 30 year max.
Maybe he'll lose his home run record, and get the new record for longest jail sentence bu a Giant baseball star!

Everyone had a theory Friday about why U.S. federal prosecutors never let Barry Bonds out of their sights for four years as the Giants slugger hit 104 home runs and broke the records of Willie Mays, Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron.
The day after baseball's newly crowned home run king was indicted for allegedly lying about using steroids, historians and legal experts say Bonds was targeted because he shrugged off the accusations, while pursuing the game's most cherished title.
"There is not a minute that goes by that some federal agent or federal prosecutor or law enforcement figure somewhere is not being lied to by someone," said Jean Rosenbluth, a former federal prosecutor in Los Angeles who teaches law at the University of Southern California.
This is the latest in a long litany of America's near-obsession with the troublesome black athlete. Whether it's Terrell Owens, Michael Vick or now Barry Bonds, black athletes who don't toe the line are going to be held accountable!

Its not a race issue its an ethics issue. If he played fair everyone would be happy for him but no one wants to see a great and honorable player like Hank Aaron's record stricken down by a cheater. People feel the same way about white players who use steroids. It is an insult to the game. And when you cheat to break a long standing record, it is an insult to the great players who held those records before them. Personally, I hate baseball and I really don't care what they do. But I understand why people are so upset.

It's not a race issue, but people like Al Sharpton and others who make their living off of playing the race card will use any opportunity to say that.
The record belonged to a legendary black American in Hank Aaron who helped break barriers. People are upset that the record is being broken by a cheater. Anyone who says it's a race issue is a moron. No sugar coating it, a moron.
He should have the record taken away and be banned from baseball if convicted.
The record rightfully belongs to Hammerin' Hank Aaron.

there has been talk of it being a race issue because guys like McGwire, Conseco, Brady Andersen, and Ken Caminiti didn't get so much flack. It's also an issue of Barry having a crummy attitude toward reporters and sometimes fans.
Will he make the HOF? I dont kno, the writers didn't let in McGwire, so he probably won't get in either. And if he has to wait very long, he's gonna be competing with other baseball players eventually (Manny, A-Rod, Clemens, one day Jeter, and others).

It's not a race issue. It's just a guy who owns a lot of records in Major League Baseball. That is why they are going after him. They want to show that they are actually doing something, so why not go after the big guy. It's like when the "untouchables" went after Al Capone, they don't care how they get him as long as they get him. They got him on tax evasion, they are trying to get Bonds on purgery.
I think it's hilarious though, they are trying to make Bonds go to prison for what? not hurting anybody but himself...MAYBE...and they still never found any proof, but if you go and kill somebody I guarantee you the investigation won't be going on for what like 5 years now? It's utterly ridiculous. Plus, I mean lets go after a baseball player for lying, but when high-ranking government officials lie abou things...like our current government for instance, they just dismiss them and don't open a 5 year investigation...yeah it's pretty sad.

See, here is why bigotry is bad. Bonds has the worst personality in sports. MAYBE Ty Cobb was worse but I think of them as being pretty much the same. But since there are all those skin-head retards and closet bigots, I can't just say, "I hate that guy." Well, I do. I don't think in his case it is racial, but since all those idiot bigots out there go on and on about him, I just want to add -- I hate John McEnroe, hated Leo Durocher and Pete Rose, liked Ernie Banks and Kirby Puckett. I shouldn't HAVE to, and I don't, but I will so I can say, "It couldn't have happened to a better ***** than Barry Bonds."

I figured it was only a matter of time before the "Race Card" was played. WTF this is why I hate america now. A black guy commits a crime or lies under oath, but if we put him in jail it is all of a sudden racist. I personally could care less what happens in this case, but if they can prove he lied about his steroid use then he should goto jail.
America is becoming the land of the whiners. It's always a race issue, sex issue, religion issue now it seems.. People need to stop bitching and learn to accept things in life... You are making other countires laugh at us.

It has nothing to do with race. If a white guy had the record by steroids I would also think he should not have the record.

Ballplayers, like everyone else, must be made to to live up to a certain set of standards, a code of conduct, if you will. Barry Bonds, is no exception.
