I just heard on the news Barry Bonds was indicted for lying under oath about the steroids investigation.
Does anyone else know anything more about it?
They said they would give full info later.

Yup I heard. It's about time. The Bonds lovers will be gone soon, he will be proved guilty and hopefully sent to jail or fined big dough.

Bonds didn't want to flat out admit he took steroids, so he said that he took them not knowing what they were at the time. That was the lie he is being indicted for. He's not on trial now for using steroids, he's on trial for lying under oath to the grand jury. Now, since his testimony will be proven false, we can safely say that he 'knowingly' took steroids, which would be an admission on Bonds' part, proving that he did in fact take steroids on purpose.

The story about Bonds is now in the news. My opinion is no way does Bonds deserve to be considered for the Hall of fame since it is proven he uses drugs.

It is about damn time. They should have done this at least a year ago. He didn't break Hammerin Hank Aaron's record just his steroids did.
