Just wondering . I do think he he helped the yankees a lot ,he was a good guy never had problems good family fan , good baseball players. Many Yankee fans back then dint like i was watching the Movie 61 and they booded him when he hit a hr in yankee stadium, but when Mickey came to bat they gave him an ovation not saying nothing bad about Mickey love the guy, but all the crap Roger had to take it made me cry .Well i do think he is a true yankee

If baseball is reinstated for the 2016 Summer Olympics and Chicago is the host city for the Olympics, which baseball stadium would you prefer having Olympic Baseball being held at and why?

You choices are Wrigley Field where the Chicago Cubs have played since 1914 and U.S. Cellular Field (formerly Comiskey Park) since 1991.

If baseball was reinstated for the 2016 Summer Olympics and Chicago host the Olympics, I would prefer the baseball be held at Wrigley Field because of its historical signifigance to baseball and many baseball players from all over the world have played at Wrigley Field.

I guess this is a "moneyball" or "sabermetric" issue if you want to call it that but if the purpose of winning a game is to score more runs than other team & that RBI & runs scored are the two most simple measurement of this and how many runs a player helped produce, how come BA and HR continue to be viewed as the most imporant statistics about a player's offensive production? The "moneyball" theory first practiced by the Oakland A's has come a long way in changing GM's ideas about how to value players by recognizing categories like on base %, total bases, etc. & the importance of avoiding making an out at your plate appearance rather than necessarily whether you hit a HR or a single, I know HRs fill seats but I think players like Rickey Henderson who is in the top 3 career leaders in baseball in runs scored tend to be less revered in baseball history than a pure slugger with no speed. Do you agree that it _is_ this case that BA & HR are overemphasized and if so why is this?

The year (2004) in question, not only was he in the Minors, he was out due to injury and phys. rehab. He was being prescribed medication under a doctors care. Steroids are commonly prescribed for treatment (my son was prescribed them a couple of weeks ago). 2004 was three years ago, at that time MLB had no ruling on steroid (or supplement) use.
Look at Rick. Is his head the size of a baby carriage (i.e.: Bonds)? His body is toned, not huge.
Last point; this came from a New York newspaper. Nuff said.

Am I they only one that thinks plowing into a catcher should not be allowed? Yeah I know alot will say its part of the game and is exciting to watch but, I think it is dirty. Watching Heinske's fat a*s plow into Posada leading with his shoulder was terrible. You arent even allowed to lead with your shoulder in hockey were they wear alot more pads and hitting is allowed. I just think one of these days a catcher is going to get seriously hurt and for no reason.
