I don't believe his story at all. Any self-respecting Sox fan would know that the Sox were never the Braves. Dane Cook is full of it with his baseball stories just like Larry King.

DANE'S DAD WAS SCOUTED BY THE BOSTON BRAVES IN 1952 WHEN HE WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL WHERE HE PLAYED 3RD BASE. HIS DAD DECIDED TO SERVE HIS COUNTRY IN THE KOREAN WAR INSTEAD. WHEN HE RETURNED HE ATTENDED BOSTON COLLEGE WHERE HE'S ON THE RECORD BOOKS FOR BASKETBALL.
