I think that Craig Biggio will become last player to 3,000 hits in future as no one could chase up their hits to reach 3,000 hits in their career.

Craig will retire as Astros as will retire after this season.

If we play the Indians, that means the Wild Card Yankees have to travel to the west coast to play the Halos. Big disadvantage for the Yanks.

But if it's the Angels, that means Mike Scosia's boys have to travel all the way to Boston whereas the Yanks would have a short trip to Cleveland.

The Angels are loaded with talent on paper, but the Tribe has had a solid second-half. Even though we've played well against the Indians this season, they're due to bust out against us. What do you think?

(Answers from Yankees fans not accepted.)

I dont care that the hinske got out on the play, that was one of the best collisions ive ever seen, and kudos to posada for holding on. I think he wasnt able to through to second because he was seeing double. Wooo!! bottom line, what did you think of it.

P.S. 10-1 magic number is 9

So if a starting pitcher is pulled before he completes the 5th inning with the lead, and then his team wins...who gets the win? I know that he doesn't because he didn't complete 5 innings, but I can't figure out who does.

Right now A-rod has 52 home runs and 141 RBIs. Each Home run is 1 RBI so, 52 X 2= 104. 141 - 104 = 37. WIthout those home runs he won't have 141 RBIs he will have 37. 37 is a really really low number for a so call "PRO". Do you think in any chance he is taking steroids for these 52 Home runs?

I'm afraid Boston fans will be mad at me because they'll think I'm a bandwagon fan. I go to a lot of the games when they play in Texas & enjoy seeing them.. should I still go?

Do us all a favor and stop as you say "WHINING". Be a man and as you say show some "GUMPTION" or what's left of it.

And just so you know. The Yankees had plenty of losing streaks at the beginning of the season, but that's over now.

You had your fun then. I'm going to have my fun now.

I just viewed the Yankees/Bostons and Cubs/Brewers remaining schedules.

Will Tampa Bay make it miserable for the AL teams?

Will Cincinnati ruin the NL teams quest for the title?

Don't you love penant races like this??

Who would like to see it come down to the wire in both of these races??

I kinda like it myself.
