it sure looks that way! jason giambi and robbie cano hit back-to-back homeruns last night against hideki okajima (who didn't allow a homerun to a letfy then) which probally risen his era to 2 something now, and then a gave up another run by damon with a rbi double. then the "mighty" papelpon gave up 3 EARNED runs after that which lead to 6 run 8th inning. god it's good to be part of the yankee nation right now! i'm starting to smell the al east. does anyone agree?

No NO NO !!! Fact of the matter is the Red Sox are, have always been, and always will be the greatest sports franchise in human history. So they lost to the Yankees? Who cares? (certainly not me) It's not like they're falling apart. They just had a brief skill miscalculation. In the grand scheme of things they're actually better off I think. It will make them stronger and shows them never to show the Yankees any mercy no matter how pitiful they seem.

Every team in Major League Baseball is wearing down. Theyve played 148 games so far this season! Anyone would be tired and wearing down. I dont think one game of off pitching constitutes saying the enitre pitching staff is falling apart.
And it is a little crazy to sit here and talk about how the Red Sox pitching staff is falling apart when you look at Pettittes outing and he threw 101 pitches and his line reads
4.0 IP, 9H, 5R, 4 ER, 2BB, 5K
Great. he struck out 5. But to throw 101 pitches and not even see the 5th inning.........
Everyone is wearing down.

re: Okajima, I heard a tv announcer say that in Japan they don't play as many games as they do here in the USA so maybe his body is tired.
to Leak: I'm a Yankee fan too and in terms of the Red Sox, don't h8, appreciate!
