I dont care that the hinske got out on the play, that was one of the best collisions ive ever seen, and kudos to posada for holding on. I think he wasnt able to through to second because he was seeing double. Wooo!! bottom line, what did you think of it.

P.S. 10-1 magic number is 9

information_police, you should be arrested, or at least sent to Singapore and caned.

There was NOTHING dirty about that play. The only chance he had of scoring was to try to dislodge the ball from Posada.

What do you want him to do, slide into Posada's shin guards and get hurt?

It's a play that is well within the rules of the game.

It was totally clean and Posada got the better of it by holding on. Catchers look like Posada and Varitek and not like Ellsbury or Crisp for a reason. And yes Ellsbury showed how it's done, with speed and elusiveness, later that same inning.

That was a scary sight! Hinske is a big boy and to see him barrel into Posada like that was scary! Posada was incredible to pop back up and stay in the game! He has much fortitude and gumption!

And kudos to Hinske, too for a hard nosed play and making sure Posada was ok on his next time at bat. Great baseball, all around, a couple of class guys.

Thank you kris that is well put. yeah its a clean play and he is only trying to score. he isn't like a-rod who always tries to cheat and all the yanks when they plyaed the blue jays and slid past 2nd on force outs at 2nd. Also wut wus the bullshit hitting youk again? Ohh Jeaner Hinske won't get hit becasue he was classy enough to make sure that jorge was ok. He talked to him during his next at bat. Also its not Hinkse thats gotta worry bout gettin hit wen we play the Yanks. I think all u other sox fans know who i am talkin bout.

Yeah Sox.
F'n Yanks stop hittin Youk

I didn't see it live, but I saw the replay, and I hoped he wasn't seriously injured. It's hard to not respect a guy like Posada.

As a sox fan I cheered the hit. Bostonians don't care for Posada's normal whiney temperment...but, I was impressed he took it like a man. Good to see sox fans had the class to give him kudos...
