That's it. Did Harry Callas have a career as a player before he became an announcer?

Thanks.

If the Angels and Indians finish with the better record, who would be seeded higher and play the wildcard team? Head to head the Angels and Indians are tied 5-5. What is the next tiebreaker?

If not what circumstances would cause the parting, and will they retire his number? I know he has a long career ahead of him, just wondering about the future. Do athletes stay with the same team their whole careers anymore anyhow?

1. Give it to the Basball Hall of Fame, as is?

2. Brand it with an asterisk, and give it to the Baseball Hall of Fame?

3. Put it on a rocket and send it into outer space.

Personally, I would vote to brand it and give it to the Baseball Hall of Fame so that it remains a constant and eternal thorn in Barry Bonds' side.

Move it back 15 feet to 75 feet. One-hundred-twenty years ago, it was 45 feet and was moved back 15 feet to the current 60'6". Let's do it again. Batters will have a better chance to make hits, score runs and increase spectator excitement. In fact, they might even allow aluminum bats, because the pitcher is farther away.

many people think of baseball as a joke but playing the game is not as easy as most people think especially at the mlb level. hitting a 90+ mph fastball is a tough task itself but having a pitch mix up various pitch with the fastball is another story. fielding a rocket shot grounder and staying infront of the ball, these are just somethings that many people dont realize about the what goes on in baseball that it makes me sick. baseball players are real athletes because they need to be well rounded in many different aspects. what do you think?

We all know ARod is the AL MVP by a mile, but who is the the NL MVP? Theres no clear cut best team in the NL, theres no clear cut best player, so theres obviously no clear cut MVP. Here are my candidates for NL MVP, on teams that have playoff chances:

Prince Fielder MIL: 47 Homers, 112 RBIs, 102 Runs, .289 BA, 149 GP <--(was suspended for 3 games though, so it should be more).

Jimmy Rollins PHI: 153 Games played, 199 hits, 89 RBIs, 37 SBs, 28 HRs, 130 R, .294 AVG. (Better all around stats than Jose Reyes).

David Wright NYM: 150 GP, 178 Hits, .318 BA, 30 HRs, 31 SBs, 103 RBIs, 40 2B, 103 Runs.

Matt Holliday COL: 36 HR, 150 GP, 112 Runs, 205 Hits, 131 RBIs, .339 BA, .614 SLG. (team still has a chance, a small one, but a chance).

And for the 5th candidate, I cant really choose, but I have: Jose Reyes, Aramis Ramirez, Ryan Howard, Chase Utley, and for non playoff teams, Dmitri Young, Chipper Jones, and Miguel Cabrera.

They are playing terrible baseball lately losing to teams that they should be beating. Do you think that the Mets will win the divison and make the post season or will they choke and fail to both win the division and qualify for the post season?

Every year, they beat the crap out of the other AL East teams, then take September off. When is Manny going to get off his butt and play a whole season?
