It's almost like they think the season is over at the end of August! It is very frustrating for sure but, we just have to hope for the best! I love Manny but, last year and this year he gets hurt at the end of the season and the team suffers greatly. That doesn't make sense to me at all..Why, if he is so hurt ,wasn't he put on the DL? I guess I should leave it to the powers that be but, it still bugs me..lol.. I love the Red Sox and I hope for success in the post season!

I don't know Maybe the Yankees are better in September and the Sox lose their Grip, and the Yankees embarrass them after the Red Sox Doing to same earlier in the Year.

I must say Manny is one of my favorite Sox players but I do believe we would be better off without him. He plays in the shadow of big papi and always get bitter about it. He's just trying to prove that he is needed and in reality he is. My biggest problem is not the team but the GM...Gagne, Drew, kielty Lugo and I kinda hate Dice-K too. What was he thinking!!!

If manny comes back tuesday he will have had as many days off this year as your beloved dirt dog did last year.
I say it is the fans that hurt the red sox not the other way around.
I dont think they beat the crap out of the Yankees this year.
Root for them stop bashing.

because they suck. the red sox cant play, they keep all there pride in a 95 year old ball park and while other clubs have parted ways with there historic past, the red sox cling to it, god knows why, ud think fenway would just bring back memories of the past and LOSING, they need to build a new stadium.. as for the red sox, they will never be better than the yankees, its just not possible.

They think they have an easy ride into the playoffs, but I doubt they take September off. They probably dont expect much out of other teams, so they just chill. Manny belongs back in Cleveland!

Over the last few years, the Yankees have not performed well when they enter the playoffs as the favorites. Why do the Sox fans get so riled up, when Boston won the World Series, they weren't the favorite, and they didn't win their division.

You take the good (his hitting), you take the bad (his running, fielding, malingering and unreliability), you take them both, and there you have... the facts of life. New England life, where the Curse of the Bambino is trying to make up for that one-week vacation it took in late October 2004.

It's Boston's nature to choke. They have had decades of practice after all.
