Tell Me all the 5 men who have had the homerun record.

Include Barry Bonds (possibly the best of all time)

Something like:

*"segregated stat, whites only league induced record, not officially made under full rules of fair competition."

And remove the asterisk for post 1965 stats, when the league was integrated with the truly "best" players regardless of race.

I can just imagine what the record books would look like if blacks and latinos had been allowed to play back then.

Tony Gwynn has said "innocent until proven guilty, so absolutely". Without proof I think it's a lock. Now bring on the hate, and the love.

Yesterdady Barry bond got as first in home run list of all time with 756, probably will get to 800 with two more seasons. Hank Aaron 2dn with 755, Babe Ruth 714* But Alex is projected to get there soon. And Pujols has been the fastest to hit the number of hume runs he has in less years.

Will Latinos and Blacks rule?

I think they ought to have a check. This big stink they are causing, do they have something to hide? When I got my job where I'm working now, I had to have one done, and so does just about everyone else. I don't understand why umpires think they are exempt from everything, especially after the recent ordeal with the basketball referee (which by the way, I think is disgusting!).

I watched the game last night between the Giants and the Nationals and after Bonds hit his home run and I really felt happy for the guy. I wished we would have also thanked the Pittsburgh fans since this is the team where he started his career and blasted 176 home runs wearing the uniform. Despite of the steroids scandals, he is an exceptional batter amongst the greatest hitters in baseball. I feel privileged to have been first hand witness of his entire career, even if he left Pittsburgh.
This is not really a question but I would like to know how you guys weigh things up.

Cheers.

I think not because they have proven that he has used steroids.

This statement was made after Glavine pitched 7 shut out innings in which Pujols did NOT have a hit.

I would give the ball back to Barry Bonds if he wanted it because I'm sure that was a special moment and game for him. He has worked dhis way up to earning the lead and moment! Then they should put the ball in the hall of fame. What would you do?

Now that Barry Bonds has broken the home run record, it is being said that this solidifies his trip to Cooperstown.

Given that this record will always be overshadowed by the possibility of steroid use, is it still fair for Pete Rose to not receive the invitation to Cooperstown based on betting?

I say you either let them both in or keep them both out. To allow Bonds in based on HRs and not Rose is a travesty.

How much would it / can it sell for (HR ball 756)? How long should the person hold the baseball before selling it?

I am so sick of hearing about Barry Bonds. As far as I'm concerned, he will never be homerun king. At the same time, I'm glad it's over!
