And has refused to turn over evidence against Bonds? Why would anyone rather go to jail then turn over evidence? That makes no sense.

Please respond, if like myself, earlier in the year, you told the Yankee haters that the Yankees would still make it? Even if you say "its not over yet", it is going to be. How many of you, not just because your a Yankee fan, but b/c you just knew, especially with the kind of ballclub they have?

The Yankee are on a tear. The lead that was once 14 games back in early July is now 5 games and the Wildcard lead which was once 11 games is now 1/2 game. Boston traditonally has a late season colapse. Does it happen this Year? Whats your take on it?

do you think barry bonds would still be hated if he did not cheat to get to 756? i mean if he still had the same personality but did not use steriods to get to 756 home runs, do you think he would still be as hated as he is?

In 1920 the AL livened up the ball to make it easier to hit homeruns, the NL followed suit in 1921, nobody had hit even 30 HR's a year, and was nowhere near 500hrs let alone 700. An asterisk would denote this in the record book and is only fitting, should one be placed; or should we all just accept that the game, society changed, and thats what is meant by records are supposed to be broken. Just because all these modern (post 1920 players) had an unfair advantage over poor Roger Connor doesn't mean they are better than him, it just means the game has changed. So whaddya say? Stand up for good 'ol Rog' and get him his record back?

I know that the White Sox start at 7:11 because of the sponsorship with 7-Eleven, but why do Jays games start at 7:07?

The value of it is way less than Mark McGwire's 70th single-season home run ball, and even so, it's freakin' 756!! I would certainly keep it. What about you?

Typical conceited Barry Bonds?

2007-08-08 04:59:33 · 6 answers · asked by Anonymous

2915 hits..this one is much easier than the homerun chase, which is finally done

plays one more season, and gets 80 hits he be good to...first ballot hall of fame

1981 rbi's...definitely will get that

already having 756 homeruns, but could add 20 more..before he is done..

pretty great baseball player

Barry gets the glory and attention, yet at the end of the night, the team did not win. Barry is priority #1. Team is second.

Randy Johnson now needs back surgery and won't pitch for a long while. What was the Diamondbacks thinking when they traded for a fourty something years old pitcher with a history of back problem? And the Diamondback gave Johnson a contract extension. Did anyone think that was a good deal at the time?
