Please respond, if like myself, earlier in the year, you told the Yankee haters that the Yankees would still make it? Even if you say "its not over yet", it is going to be. How many of you, not just because your a Yankee fan, but b/c you just knew, especially with the kind of ballclub they have?

yeah, I knew it. they have been doing this for the past 2 years but they have always been the August-September-October team for the past decade.

If you follow the Yankees you know that with the exception of 98 they are slow starters but come on like gangbusters after the all-star break. This season is no exception. Couple that with the fact that the Bosox traditionally do a swan song in the latter stages of the season, its no surprise where the Yankees are. Especially with their club being as strong offensively as it is. If Hughes and or Chamberlain step up they can't miss.
