Yes definitely. Barry said he didn't want it anyway. Why not sell it to the highest bidder? A HR ball is the fan's property.

I would sell it when it's at its highest value, then:
1. Make sure I clear things with the IRS.
2. Give 10% to my church
3. Settle all debts and give my property an extreme makeover
4. Secure trust funds for my kids' educations
5. Give the rest to research of kids and steroid use.

Barry Bonds is on record saying that he doesn't want the ball. I would sell it as quickly as possible and get what I can for it.

I would not have kept or sold the ball, I would have given it to bonds... I think that he would like to keep that as a sort of trophy to remember his record breaking moment.

Of course, if you sell it you can gaurantee you will be an instant millionaire. That is until the IRS takes their 50% share.

heck no... sell it while you can get the money. If something is ever made out of the steroid thing... the value drops. Risk/reward. Take the money and run.
