No, he's a cheater. Look at his photos from his rookie year, and of him now. Not the same man !

Of course it is. It is the number of times a ball hit by him went out of the park. In every case he held the bat that made contact with the ball, and subsequently the ball went over the fence. Every individual home run is legitimate, so the total of those home runs is legitimate, in turn making the record undeniably legitimate. For any one thinking suspected steroid use would have some baring on Barry's playing history, give it up there was no rule in place so there was no violation. And he's still never failed a drug test.

Yes it is legitimate until major league baseball says in person that Barry Bonds was on steriods through his career then to me hes legit And it doesnt matter that he's not Arod or Sammy bc hes become known to some, abviously not all people. If your a baseball fan youll think about this and think your only goin to see this once in lifetime this record I mean so what about that steriods, its not proven yet and this is one of the greatest milestones for anyone and Barry deserves it.

No, but I question any record that was broke over the last 10 to 15 years. This was the steroid era, and baseball needs to move
on. No it wasn't right but there have been many things in different eras were not right. Its not the same game it was 20 years ago, the league is bigger, and ballparks are smaller, pitchers don't pitch inside. There always going to be questions when a record is broke because some steroid can't be tested for. Better get used to it.

Yes I do. Bonds has never tested dirty for any banned substance. Even if he did eat some bad chicken once, that doesn't turn you from an average player into a superstar.
He has been one of the best and most feared hitters in baseball for years, and hit 756 in 2500 fewer at bats than Hammerin' Hank because he has great eye-hand coordination and generates tremendous bat speed, that's it.

my first instinct says no, but if u look around, its not just him on steroids, its the pitchers and teh hitters around him and everyone. production hasnt stopped or slowed since the steroid era incase u didnt see, if anything its gone up. cuz the fans wanna see sluggers, not small ball players. so even though its definatly "tainted", a word thats been thrown around a lot lately, its still legitimate in my opinion.
and an arguement on his side is that he has to run around in left field for balls and he has played 22 seasons, most players have career ending injurys on steroids because they rip the muscles right off the bones

Haven't watched a MLB game in years, so really can't say that I care. Yes, I think Bonds probably cheated, but who's to say Aaron and Ruth didn't?
Besides. A-Rod will break it again in about 6 years.

No. He cheated, end of story. He used sources that others in the game did not use,(He said he used them as well) that gave him a advantage. Not even playing field. Lucky we only have to wait 4 or 5 years for Alex.

campare Bonds to Ruth and Aaron
Bonds (230lb) is more built then Ruth(215lb) and Aaron(180lb) and both of them were able to hit over 700 homers. so size and built does not matter.
i dont see Bonds bracking longest homerun records.

No, I think he used steroids because if you see an earlier picture of him you see that even his head is smaller
