He sure looks guilty to me. Pin head and a body made outta stone. He's either a workout junkie taking mass amounts of weight gainer and also has just enough time to shag a few balls and practice in a cage every once and a while or he's guilty as sin. NYM sure don't seem to be concerned, signed him to a contract the size of Mt. Everest.

I'm reading Moneyball and have Baseball Between the Numbers (which I'll read next), but if you have anything online (either something to read or maybe an online course) and any other book recommandations (especially if you've actually read them), that'd be great.

Bonds has broken the homerun record, but there will always be that question shadowing him of wether or not he used steroids to achieve the record. What do you think?

Nolan had seven no-hit games during his 27 year career in the majors, what I want to know, is which team was the last one to feel the heat from the "Ryan Express."

my personal opinion is that steroids does make sports a little more interesting, and im for whatever makes the product better.i love seeing a man hit a baseball almost 600 feet,or watching a man run a mile in under 4 minutes.most nascar fans won't admit it but im sure most enjoy a 20 car pile up at 200 mph!!,these are my opinions and im entitled to them.i just want to hear other peoples opions on the subject, thank you

i know i wouldn't. i'm a big collecter. i dont care if it would be worth a million, i would still keep it. childish, yes.

even if your not a vivid collector, the ball will grow in value like a stock (most of the times)

In last night's Phillies-Marlins game, J.D. Durbin of the Phillies recorded a save. At the start of the 7th inning with no runners on and the score 11-1, J.D. Durbin relieved Jamie Moyer. I have been an avid baseball fan my entire life and without ego can say that I know as much about the the game as anybody this side of Tony LaRussa. This being said I know it is not possible to record a save in an 11-1 game. Someone help me with this

Yahoo! Sports wrote an article which stated Hank Aarons record breaking home run shot earned a 22.3 rating on NBC as opposed to Barry Bonds' record breaker only earning a 1.1 on ESPN2. I think if ESPN2 was FREE, as NBC is, far more people would have tuned in to watch the game. What do you think?

If it is because "he cheated," he didn't. When he allegedly took "the cream" and "the clear" those substances were NOT against the rules of the game. Are you also calling for all "cheaters" to be treated the same way?

If it is because "what he did was illegal" do you treat Babe Ruth the same way? Babe Ruth ingested MANY illegal substances between 1920-1933 during the U.S. period of alcohol prohibition.

Do you know anyone that has ever taken Viagra, Ritalin, Prozac, Red Bull, Adderall, Ambien, ASPIRIN? Those are ALL performance enhancers. ANYTHING that alters your body chemistry other than food and water can enhance your bodies performance. You may not be a pro athlete... but if it's OK for you or your friends to do it, but you pile on Barry Bonds, face the facts: YOU are a hypocrite.

Like: * "record made in whites only league, not true standard for fully competitive baseball statistics."

OK, so I've been reading a lot of the questions and a lot of them revolve around steroids. It got me to thinking I had a lot of baseball cards from when I was younger..when I compared a lot of the early 90's cards to a lot of the late 90's cards I couldn't believe it! We all consider Bonds, Sosa, McGwire, but look at the pitchers, and other players. Even JOHNNY DAMON had grown a ton! But, what percentage of players do you think actually used performance enhancing drugs from 1995 to 2005. Regardless of whether you think it is ok or not, what percentage would you say? I would say 40 to 50% if not more! What do you think??

I got a reply about baseball better now. Bullcrap. Today too many teams so they have to fill rosters. So weak pitchers who dont belong in majors sneak in. Also Babe Ruth hit dead ball with no cork in center. With todays balls my grandmother could hit home run.
