How could you think Hank Aron took a form of steroids. They didnt have them and he is like 80 years old. Barry Bonds is going to feel the effects of the steroids in 10 years. He will not live to be 60. That is a stupid comment.
Mow the question. I am sure he is in the weight room every day and he probably still takes steroids. The testing in baseball is a joke. I am a Redsox Fan and I am hopeing A-Rod breaks his record and Ryan Howard has a chance. But you dont know if either of them a clean.

Water retention is the answer. Steroids will do that to your body, especially in Barry's case. I'm taking steroids for asthma and although the hat size seems to grow and body size grows as well, it definitely stays with you and is difficult to get excess water out.
Water pills do the trick, but who wants to go to the bathroom every five minutes.....

Good point... The body can lose muscle mass when anabolics are not being taken. I know because my roommate in college was into roids, then quit, and I could see a visible change withint a month.

First off, he works out a LOT. And he isn't taking steroids or we'd know it, because he's being tested on a very regular basis. (Each time he hits a homer, he has to take a urine test for banned substances.)
All you Barry haters need to get over it...if you think Hank Aaron wasn't on speed, you're kidding yourself!!
