Also, what if he just 'ticks' it? Is a tick recognized in MLB?

no he is not out unless a player catches the foul ball or the catcher is able to hang on to the ball after he barely hits it or "ticks it"

no.. a player may hit as many fouls as they can but each foul ball counts as a strike... a good thing is that a foul ball with two strikes DOES prevent a strike out.. HOWEVER if the catcher or any other player can CATCH a foul ball that goes over the batters head then the batter is out..

ALSO in reference to a tic if it is on strike three and the catcher can hold on to it then the tic WOULD cause the batter to be out.. otherwise it is just counted as a strike like any other foul ball.

one other note if a batter is attempting to BUNT and they have two strikes and they bunt the ball foul that is also an automatic out.

No if a batter hit's 3 straight foul balls he isn't out, but if he swings 3 times and misses he strikes out.

you've never watched a baseball game? ever? you can hit foul balls from dusk till dawn and it wouldn't be an out. I remember a player once hitting 7 or 8 foul balls before, the only thing that happened was a smattering of "BOOOOOOOO'S!!!"

C. Incidently, the batter can hit any sort of foul balls as long as a participant on the different team would not seize it interior the air interior the sector of play. i think of the checklist is close to to twenty.

If the last one is a bunt foul...yes. Otherwise, he has two strikes no matter how many fouls he hits.
