If Barry Bonds* was white would he get the same free pass for taking steroids? no.. but then i dont care about bonds* color.. all steroid users past and present should be tossed out of the game ala pete rose. records expunged, awards stripped... kick the fers out.....permanently regardless of color, name, ect...

The question isn't whether or not he has taken steroids, the question is whether he knew what he was taking was steroids. Sheffield, Bonds, and Giambi already testified that they did indeed take steroids, but Shef and Barry claim they didnt know that they were taking steroids, they thought they were putting a flaxseed oil creme on their bodies. If they [Shef & Bonds] are telling the truth, then Anderson could be in severe trouble for distributing a misleading, illegal product...kinda like giving out heroin as a painkiller. Just because Anderson is keeping quiet doesnt necessarily mean that he's covering up for Barry and Barry alone. BALCO's clients went from pro-athletes all the way down to high school students, as well as the BALCO employees themselves. IMO, he's not keeping quiet to protect Barry, he's keeping quiet to protect a much bigger network of clients. Barry is just the poster child, because people need to put a face on the problem.

During the era he was doing steroids everyone was, and the commissioner turned a blind eye to it , steroids brought back baseballs popularity with that whole home run chasing record, with Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa. He would have been great with out steroids, but there wont be an asterise in the record books ( * steroid era ). He`s an asshole, that's the reason most people hate him, ovcource the integrity of baseball is inegsistant right know.

his color has nothing to do with how he was treated...Babe Ruth was a womanizer, alcoholic and a racist but no one seems to remember that...Bonds has never had a positive test, he is being convicted in the court of public opinion which we should know is flawed. and to comment on the gentlemen that said he could hit like Bonds if he was on the stuff......are u out of your mind? a hitter has .6 seconds to decide to hit a pitch thrown from 60 feet.....i doubt you would even see it....much less get enough of it to hit it out of the park....steroids will help your strength but has NOTHING to do with the eye to hand coordination that is required to hit a baseball at the professional level....why don't we all just wait till there is some solid evidence that he did or did not and cease with all the conjecture.....

People have forgotten about Babe Ruth's personal life because it didn't diminish what he accomplished on the baseball field. Barry cheated, and everyone knows it.

I must of missed something along the way, can you please tell all of us what information you have about the Bonds use of steroids since the implementation of the MLB and Players Union drug testing plan? Your other white and black issue is not even worthy of a response.
