I am not one who believes in the false bravado of - say - Tom Hamilton of Cleveland radio broadcasts, where a hot dog wrapper swirling in the breeze is seemingly one of the greatest moments in pro sports.
I would have said that he got all of pitch and there is no doubt at all - let the crowd noise paint the picture for the radio audience - and then return by describing the scene at home plate. A broadcaster descibes and is not part of the story.

I heard that Barry Bonds won't signed the 756 ball. So The guy ( Matt Murphy) is going to stick a steroid needle in it.
and Sell it for the lowest bid!

Give you a hint people. The reason you don't hear people talking about these other people that took steroids is they are more or less ignored for their past behavior. I laugh that the best defense people can come up with is "what about Mcgwire or Gambi, etc", are you really that lame?, thats your excuse? The man cheated, they all did. Look at the numbers. Hell, look at their pictures. Thats steroids, kids. The eason you don't hear about the other guys is, nobody cares about them anymore. Just like in a few years, Bonds ONLY claim to fame will be an "*".

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are sorry but due to technical difficulties we were unable to broadcast Bonds turn at the plate.

I probably would have a little like KNBR's Jon Miller's call because I grew up with him and love listening to the way he calls games.

YES I WOULD!!!!! It looks to me that people forget the Jason Gambi took roids. And Bonds has not failed a MLB drug test in his carrer. Plus Roids testing has not around when Hank Aaron hit his 755, so how do we know HE didnt take roids.
