Ill set the scene. In my videogame, i was playing Cleveland Indians vs. Texas Rangers. There is one out in the inning and runners on 1st and 3rd. Someone on Texas hit a pop up to the shortstop. Both runners were obviously holding on the pop up. The shortstop misplayed the ball and dropped it, but then threw to 2nd easily, and the runner on 3rd did not advance. The runner who was on 1st got out on the fielders choice. The shortstop was charged with an error. Is that an error or a clean fielders choice.

The day after Lou gets suspended, they slaughter the Braves. Pure coincidence, or just one of those fluky games?

Personally, I think it's a very close choice. On the one hand, Papelbon, Beckett, Dice-K, and Lester could become the greatest young core of pitching since the great Braves dynesty. On the other hand, there's something to be said for such late-inning stability.

Your thoughts?

Im so tired of watching espn and seeing all this hype about the yanks and the sox, especially when the yankees suck this year.

i want more hype for the smaller market, yet good, teams. Such as the Indians, Angels, and the Padres.

anyone else here feel the same way?

As all sports fans know the ANgels have a very deep squad... Unfortunately the ANgels don't have much offense other than Vlad and Matthews Jr.... IF YOU WERE STONEMAN What moves would you makeNOW!

Here is what I would do TODAY!!!!!!!

Anaheim ANgels send

Chone Figgins
Ervin Santana
Joe Saunders

TO Yankees for
AROD

This would make the best lineup in the history of the Angels

1) Williitz
2) O CABRERA
3) VLADIATOR!
4) AROD-IATOR!
5) Gary matthews Jr
6) Garrett Anderson
7) Casey Kotchman
8) Howie Kendrick
9) M Napoli

WOW!!!!! WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!!

U agree?

I think it is obvious that instant replay should be used in Baseball. Umpires are constantly making bad calls. I think that is why baseball isn't our National past time anymore. it has been replaced with Football, which does use instant replay. Do you agree?

He re-injured his groing and got scratched froma start for the Yankees. I think he is done and will never pitch again...the Yankees wasted nearly 18 million on him to not start. Groin injuries can take several months to be completely healed from.

i was wondering why they're not on the mlb team list no more. is it because they sucked so bad that it was just a waste of money to keep them playing in the mlb?

What did "Sweet Lou" Whitaker do after the last out of the 1987 regular season?

Does anyone know? I've looked online and can't find it anywhere.

No doubt the best in baseball. Even though two of their top three starters (Harden and Loaiza) out for most if not all of the season, their 4 starters (Blanton, Haren, Gaudin, and Kennedy) have a combined 2.77 ERA which is far better than any other team in the majors. Haren and Gaudin are 1-2 in ERA for the AL.

You have to watch the hole thing to get a goos laught and keep this in mind when he is crouches to the mound he is pretending that he is a soilder and when he throws the rawsin at the home plate upp he is pretending it is a granade and is blowing up the upp. Unife from me talking and spoiling it for you, I will just let you watch it know but keep in mind what I said about the garnade.

Baseball is the only sport where being a class act comes before winning.

Therefore ARod should not have yelled at the third basemen.

Gotta love Sweet Lou! He's certainly got some style when he gets ejected from a game. It was sad seeing him get ejected in Tampa with nobody caring. But now he's doing it in the big spotlight again, with the Cubbies.

And now he's putting up the career numbers.

He's been ejected from a game as a member of 6 different teams.

Seventy something ejections. Getting into Earl Weaver territory, although he's never been ejected whille giving the line-up card to the umpire like Earl did.

I don't think he can touch John McGraw's record of 131 ejections though.
