I like the yankees
I'm not sure why i dont like the red sox. I just dont.

Yankees Fan and i dislike all the bandwagon red sox ignorant fans who are fans since 04. I grew up a Yankee fan so dont say i jumped on them. I hate this whole Yankees have money thing when the Red Sox are catching up to the Yankees in payroll and gave Dice K huge money to talk to him only. Also there are many hypocrites who when the yankees win they say " oh they have the money they should be winning" then those same people now are like "see i said money cannot buy you championships" Well good luck red sox fans. Take the World series you have the talent this year and are truely the superior team and management. Hope to catch up and make the race interesting.

The Red Sox are arguably the most beloved franchise in all of sports. Their fans are loyal and faithful despite having had their hearts broken a thousand times and yet they always come back for more. The world series win in '04 was like being released from prison after serving 86 years. Now they are on top again and we Sox fans are loving it. But you know what? We'd love them just the same if they were in last place.
Yankee fans? They're ready to storm Steinbrenner's office if they don't start winning. They boo their own player's. They're a disgrace.
Everything about the Red Sox is first class. THAT'S why I'm a Red Sox fan.

I'm a Red Sox fan. My dad was a Yankee fan, my grandfather a Sox fan. My kids will probably like the Yankees...
I'm from Rhode Island where it is about 75% Sox 25% Yanks. Growing up I didn't hate the Yankees. I liked Willie Randolph, Don Baylor, Dave Winfield. Then in the late 80's/early 90s the Yanks were pretty bad so they were tough to hate since they were irrelevant. Sox were also bad in early 90s.
With few exceptions, in the late 90s into the 2000s the only teams in the AL East that compete are Boston and New York. So it makes sense that you despise the rival.

Red Sox fan for over 35 years.
I don't dislike the whole team of the Yankees. Just some of their players. Well, really, only 1 of their players since Sheffield is gone now.
I used to hate the Yankees because they always beat us but, I havent hated them for a few years now.

There are thirty (30) teams in MLB of which all of them have fans. How about if I tell you I love to watch both the Sox and the Yankees but pull for the dodgers.

Red Sox why because of Wade Boggs and Roger Clemons. Cant say that i "hate" the Yankees but i can say i root for them to loose every game.
