Hogging the headlines for boneheaded plays as well as other bone related issues. Stepping out on his insanely hot wife- Cynthia. Selling out his former best friend- DJ, in interviews. What else can A-Rod do to prove that he is the modern day incarnation of Nook LaLoosh- a million dollar talent with a ten cent head.

I was watching the game with my dad and we were making fun of Johnny Damon's throwing arm. Then he started talking about how back in the day there were some real "guns" in the outfield. Anyways In the 6th inning a flyball goes over his head and to the wall. He gets it and throws in a relay. The ball couldnt have gone more than 15 yards LOL. Me and my dad were cracking up, rewinding it with DVR like 5 times. Did you see this? How terrible was that throw on 1-10 scale, 10 being worst?

Title is: "All Nine Indians Record a Hit". This video doesnt show the play, but they say "Coco Crisp cant throw or hit" after he makes a diving catch. It is hilarious!

It seems that Willie Mays and Hank Aaron were both closing in on 714 and so the home run was taken back just in case on of these fellows fell one short of 715. Will he ever get it back?

I would like to know if anyone else throws this hard and if you are in the Rochester, Ny area if there are any other available teams that are Elite and with good coaching and for those coaches I throw 84-86 consistently and accurately and have a 73 mph change up and a decent slider and a big splitter

I saw an article that mentioned Damon, but how are the Yankees going to unload him with that contract? 13.5mil a year. They are going to have to pay a sizeable amount. I don't see many players that are tradeable, possibly Matsui, although I don't think they will, any thoughts?

He might just be the most over-rated pitcher of all time. He only had a .526 winning percentage, third all time in losses, averaged 13-12 records for his career, and he surrendered 2795 walks and 277 wild pitches during his career, far more than any other pitcher in baseball history. He had little success in leading teams to the postseason.
Over-rated -agree?

It just seems like 70 Million to Drew and the first 1/3 of the season he hasn't really been much. Trot wasn't great, but he is in the top 30 of Sox history in HR, RBI, and OBP. I want to know what other Sox fans think.

I heard an announcer on the radio yesterday declare that the Detroit Tigers are "8 games over .500" how do they figure this? The Tigers are 30-22, which means they have 8 more wins that losses. 30-22 means they have played 52 games .500 would then be 26-26, which means the Tigers are only 4 games over .500. Any ideas how this got started??

Ever since they won in 2004, everyone tells me that they will have to wait another 87 years to win another one. Why is this so? What rule in baseball says they will have to wait 87 years? If so, then why do they even bother to play the games?
