Hogging the headlines for boneheaded plays as well as other bone related issues. Stepping out on his insanely hot wife- Cynthia. Selling out his former best friend- DJ, in interviews. What else can A-Rod do to prove that he is the modern day incarnation of Nook LaLoosh- a million dollar talent with a ten cent head.

Nope, that honor still goes to either Barry Bonds or Bud Selig, who together are slowly destroying baseball. Bonds talks to the media, when he wants to, the whole world knows he cheated on his wife, he told reporters that team mate Mark Sweeney gave him amphetamines in interviews and he just seems like someone who thinks the world owes him something.

ARod may do a few things that may seem odd to fans, but he has never cheated the game. As far as the Howie Clark incident goes, where exactly in the rule book does it state that it is illegal to try and make an opposing player drop a pop up? Baseball is a game and the object is to win, if another player did that while Arod was trying to catch a pop up, I'm sure he would take the error and get on with it.

Is he worth 250 Million Dollars? Maybe, Maybe not, but I would take ARod over Balco Bonds anyday of the week.

Bud Selig is just a jackass who dosen't know what the helll he's doing? God Help Us!

He isn't even the "stupidest" player on the Yankees. That would be Kyle Farnsworth. Along with Scott Proctor, he fails to understand that it doesn't matter how fast you throw if you don't get the ball over the plate. Farnsworth breaks that tie by questioning Roger Clemens' commitment. Hey, Kyle, what have you ever done besides try the kind of dirty stuff that Yankee-haters, in their infinite delusion, only THINK A-Rod pulls?

Most selfish? Most self-centered? Now you're getting back into Bonds territory. But he's not stupid.

No, those titles belong to Barry Bonds.

And, now I definitely don't mind sounding off about it... He's stated publicly on several occasions that he will give the Hall of Fame nothing .... no balls, no jerseys, no bats associated with his little "record breaking" quest. He has stated, "It's all about me... and looking out for me." repeatedly..... He's also broken his contract with the Players Association regarding merchandise sales.... He's doesn't want to share any of the profits from "Barry Bonds" memorabilia with other players.... Because he has broken this tie with Major League Baseball Players Association, his name and likeness cannot be used on things like MLB games for video gaming consoles (that's why he doesn't show up on them anymore)..... If they want to use his name, likeness, etc., they have to go directly through him..... Now, to me...that is the epitome of most selfish and self centered player in baseball. Agree?

First of all, "stupidest" isn't even a word! Second of all, those stories of A-Rod cheating on his wife, is just GOSSIP!! It's not true at all!! He and Jeter are still friends. They're not as close as they used to be because A-Rod is married and has a daughter now.

No my friend...the titleholder for stupidest, most selfish, self-centered player in baseball is still Barry Bonds. It will be Alex Rodriguez as soon as Bonds retires, of course.

Pete Rose has that title. 2nd is Barry Bonds. However A-Rod is catching up. SO is Cynthia seeing anyone?

What a ridiculous question. He's definitely not dumb. The most selfish player is probably Roger Clemens. He's not even a team guy. He won't travel with the club, won't play when the season starts, and makes teams fight over him every year.

I don't know. Bonds and A-Rod may be jerks but can they hold a candle to players like Brett Myers, Elijah Dukes, Julio Lugo, etc., who are wife beaters/kill threateners? I think not. Save the trash talk for the truely trashy players please.
