A-Rod is a good pick but you would have to give some consideration to Jorge Posada if he continues to hit well. To have a high average and catch as well is really difficult because they always have those nagging injuries that keep you from swinging the bat well.

i think jeter is the man(as much as i hate saying that), a-rod can't do anything under pressure. he hit 14hrs in 18games,then hit 5hrs in 40games,hes streaky, but very inconsistent. i think this blonde bombshell news will make this season fall apart even more and the yanks aren't even going to make the playoffs.roger clemens isn't going to do a think ,and i think the white sox will rock him this monday.
joe torre, cashman will be fired finally.and every big name non-producer will be traded, and they yankees will just build around jeter, cano, melky, clippard, hughes, and some of there other amazing prospects that either sit because of over paid under achievers, or get traded for them.the yanks are falling apart, and the new kings of new york are the mets, and thats very sad ,that the evil empire has been defeated, and to think of all the starving children in the world went hungry , so that the yanks can fail for the last 8yrs and waist almost $2billion .

He needs to win something!! he didn't do anything last year, so he really needs to prove himself which I think he's doing in this season!!! Yankees needs to grow a back bone, why aren't they playing the way we know the Yankees can?

I think it is Jorge Posada. He is leading the league in Batting average and should be the starting all star game catcher. A-Rod started hot then faded away. Speaking of A-Rod, can someone please explain to me why he wonders why no one likes him when he does dirty stuff like he did Wednesday night vs Toronto. FYI: he was running from second to third. and Posada hit a pop up. To confused the third baseman he said "Mine", which you can clearly see on the ESPN replay, but he lied and said he said "Hop".

Roger Clemens. He will turn around the locker room atmosphere, and pick up about 10 wins for a very depleted pitching staff.

If the pitching staff starts coming around and he continues to hit Jorge would be my pick. A staff is better with solid catcher who knows his pitchers and knows the hitters they face.

I think it will be A-rod too but Derek Jeter is another option.

Jorge has an excellent chance I think. Tho, if they keep playing like little leaguers, none of them should ge tit.

I agree. It's gonna be A-Rod. And why not, look at the year he is having.
