No depth at pitching. The DL brothers are sucking in Spring Training. LOU PINELLA AS MANAGER, The Cardinals being the better team in all ways.

Last year, they were an awsome team in an ok division. Now, pitching has gone down and Philies are good. Can the Mets make the playoffs or even win the World Series? Please state why.

i currently own a San Francisco Giants hat that i wear around a moderate amount of the time...and i was thinking about buying an Oakland A's hat to replace that hat...would it be weird to wear an A's hat after wearing around a Giants hat? I used to live really close to San Francisco so i kinda grew up in my earlier years around the giants but since i moved further away (i live closer to oakland now...about an hour away from san francisco) i have grown to like the A's more...i kinda regret my decision to buy the giants hat first, since i like the A's more and i know there is a rivalry between the 2 teams. im in high school, and im worried people might think im stupid for wearing an A's hat after wearing the giants one around. would this be too weird?

We have already paid 125$ for uniform and they want more now for pants with numbers stitched in them. Plus $75 more dollars for ballpark fees. Now they are recommending we buy her a new bat and batting helmet. When I played youth baseball, the fees covered all that. What has gone wrong with youth leagues, I just want my daughter to have fun without practicing 5 times a week for 3 hours a practice.

I would say the AL Central. Three legitimatly good teams: White Sox, Twins, and of course the defending American League champs Detroit Tigers.

There is a separate section for fantasy sports, I get sick of reading fantasy sports questions here. Along with who was the greatest player and how come Pete Rose is not in the HOF, among others.

In 1922 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that baseball did not engage in Interstate Commerce. Therefore, Anti-trust did not apply to them.
However, since baseball started to engage in national braodcast rights, Revenue sharing (for which the Pirates get money for games between the Red Sox and the Yankees for games not played in PA), and most recently sole rights for broadcast to DirectTV for the whole nation.
This suggests that the 1922 decision is now stale since MLB has engaged in interstate commerce not covered by the decision, and that anyone who had MLB extra innings but not DirectTV has standing due to being forced to buy a new service that they wouldn't be required to otherwise.
Is there a viable class-action lawsuit to force baseball to pay the costs for all people required to switch providers, or forfeit their anti-trust status?

Ryan's record was in 1973, the first year of the DH so the lineups were obviously tougher than what Koufax had to face since at least 50 of his K's were against pitchers.
