I'm going to be on a baseball team this spring and was wondering how do I get ready for it? What is some stretches that I need to do? Is a certian diet or food good also? Any advise or good training tips would help. Thanaks. ;)

Alot of arm, back, and leg stretches. Flexibility is a big part of baseball. A diet with plenty of carbs and protein is good, especially if you are going to be working out. You also need to do conditioning. Doing alot of sprints and short burst runs are great at building speed on the bases. Long distance running is also goo because it builds endurance. Weight training also is a good idea. Bench presses and squats and crunches will help a ton. You might also want to do rotator cuff exercises to increse your throwing speed. Be sure to work both arms. Also go to a batting cage. Start in a slower cage and work on good form. Once you consistently have good form, increase the speed.

My husband is a Coach but he is taking a nap at this moment so I cant ask him.... My suggestion is: Go to a batting cage, get a friend to practice throwing to you to hit you balls. Whether they are grounders, fly balls or whatever he can hit to you. Either play infield or outfield. I probably would suggest going to a ball diamond nearby. (The Park).. Or get 2 teams together and play a game...
I use to play Softball. My dad would play catch with me in our Yard.
Hope this helps
